To me ehh, this episode is really exceptional. Among all the episodes i have watched so far here, i can tell, that this one extraordinary and exceptional. Real facts are here. Everyone of you delivers EXCELLENTLY. You will definitely understand why that word is in caps, coz it's a carrier, it carries weight and so much in it. The episode entered my body, soul and spirit. I enjoyed it. Keep going guys. People watching this podcast for 30 seconds and rant critics are really missing a lot. I say it with my full chest and from the top and bottom of my heart. We can get back our society that was long gone if all these sense-installed conversations happens daily in our lives. We would have seen the change we've long been awaiting for. And the good news is, this podcast in a whole, gives more than enough even to the simple. These people, abeg make una keep rolling. I like it as I'm seeing all that is happening here. I just can't talk less. I feel like to keep talking, but mere words only can't express how great am feeling about this episode. I rank it top and the best.

When I visited my dad in the USA as a child, I would do his friend’s and their children’s hair all summer and I would have so much money doing that ($20-$200 depending on the style). I can still do hair, but my passion was Science (Biology) so I went to school for that. I’m good as a Scientist now; but I always know, if I don’t have that job; I can go back to doing hair. Never got pressured by my parents, thankfully, I just had to go to university- I had the freedom to study what I wanted; all my siblings do.

Most times, our parents see far and better than we could ever see. I wanted to study agricultural engineering, but my uncle insisted I study nursing. Today, I'm grateful I listened. It was the same for my younger sister. She wanted to study medicine, but my uncle also insisted she studied marine engineering. Today, she's doing very well far more than she would probably have done as a doctor.

Well said, but would you say you are grateful because of the financial gains and career path as a nurse in the world or because you outgrew your 'idea' about AGRICULTURE?

In their time, parents played a crucial role in guiding their children's course choices, which was not selfish but rather a reflection of the prevailing norms. Many children then and even now still lack the opportunity to engage in academic career discussions with their parents. This disparity can often be attributed to differences in exposure. It is our hope that we can break this cycle and provide our own children with more supportive guidance.
