This is what i needed. At this point i don't care about IIT or NID. All I want to do is creat a business around industrial design, if not then atleast be good at industrial design. Thanks sir ❤ But the problem is, how da hell should I learn it at home ! Now, I can handle the research, ideation, problem solving and creative part by my own but how should I handle the prototyping and creating the actual product using actual meterials, as this part requires some guide and some machines 😵. I can't afford private college fees 😭 Somebody please guide 😭🙏

There are some cheap private colleges as well. They arent that good, but its only if you know how to slay even with a bad college.

@@user-wu2kl8nt1r there are cheap private colleges for design but mostly they provide communication design which includes ui ux, graphic design etc. You can learn these with just a laptop. What I am looking for is cheap colleges providing industrial design, as I only need in hand work. I can't find any cheap private college for industrial design except VIT vellore.

Really great point, as an NID student i know that most of us are running for security, while others may have chance to take higher risks.

Hlo sir I am also going to give entrance for nid next year but I am confused that if I do not get into nid so what should I do as a backup plan or if nid or what ?

I kind of disagree with that because what I have experienced myself is that the industry has over glorified the visual part to an extent that now it's not even a topic of debate for them. Plus they do too much false marketing of these facts that ultimately people who join the industry are also influenced by that notion and if not, then they are forced to work on visuals more than the research ( I am not taking premier companies since the ratio of designers in those companies is almost 0.6% but the unicorn startups is what I am talking and people are paid less from the perspective of research and design thinking

I am in 12th PCM rn, gave uceed this year, got 80 marks in gat part, gen category ... What's a better option to me, taking drop next year or taking admission in a pvt college reappearing for uceed tho??

There are some colleges who have been in the market for last 10-15 years. They have a good alumni base in the industry. We cannot take names because we are not affiliated to any of them.

There are some actually good private collages like CEPT or VIT. They do teach good, but super expensive Like, CEPT charges 17 lakhs for 4 years, what da hell, nega you just sucking blood at this point, that's not appropriate for just a design degree, where students mostly learns by themselves. But VIT has less fees.
