Redemption Hike w/pics at end. Mid September, 2022

I was only going to hike to Wickiup Plains, turn around and back-track to my truck but I got cell reception at Wickiup Plains & called my son in Bend.
He kindly picked me up where the trail detour popped me out at Devils Lake Trailhead...just east of Elk Lake Resort on the Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway (OR 46).
