yep 10 out of 10 chances the motor or the DCT transmission will burn up. They refuse to put a reliable motor or transmission in the US market.

I am out if they use a DCT transmission. Why crappy DCT. That is why I will not buy now. Give us a 8 speed AT transmission. Hight cost of repair of DCT. Don't last and chatter and burn up. In traffic they will burn up. I talked to many people that have a new Sorento and everyone said it has shifting problems and was never told it wasn't a regular automatic transmission. Kia motors are burning up too. Bearing going bad and long wait times for repair and that is if they will warranty it. Get a new chevy Traverse and don't look back. Kia is into style not dependability. Us market they give us DCT. We want a standard automatic. DCT transmission slips, delayed shifting, banging into gears, getting stuck in limp mode, and no reverse or drive gear.
