i'm a graphic design student and sometimes i feel like i'm not good enough to do this job because many of the people who go to uni with me are already 100% better than me. i always felt like i needed to be also an actual illustrator to make it into the business (lol) but i never realised that i can work with illustrator and photoshop like that!! i'm not really that comfortable with the softwares yet since in school we focus more on the ways that graphic design impacts society and its history (like you said in one of your videos) but i'm hoping to get better soon. watching your videos has definitely inspired me and helped me understand more. i'm definitely going to buy a tablet (even a cheap one since i'm still in school and i don't work) but i sometimes struggle with the mouse so i think it would be a good thing. your videos are really really interesting so please keep posting them! Not being happy with the work you create just shows that your technical skills haven't caught up with your taste for quality design. Luckily for you, taste can't be taught, but software skills can.
