Man, that looks great! LED projects are really fun to work on. One note I have on those wifi Bluetooth conteollers: I never like having to pair to an app or create an account because that's one more thing to keep track of or having to connect my phone to. I would recommend looking at WLED. It's a bit more advanced, but it generates a webpage to go to on your church network instead of an app. I would also recommend stripping back the minimum amount of insulation on the wires, as to prevent any shorts later on when wires get moved, rustled etc.

Looks great! We just did that to our cross too. I used the aluminum diffuser track so if the adhesive on the back of the strip fails, it still stays contained inside the diffuser track. Also used the RGBW DMX controller so we could control the LED's with the rest of the stage lights. It was a fun project.
