Hello AKA, this video is very old, I don't know if you have a recent one, I did not read all comments, but I want to add there are other debuff equipments not mentioned. See Fearless Ares Armor, -30% Attack Ranged and Siege! Courageous Achaemenidae Armor is for different purpouse. I could not review all Ares, Imperial, and Pathian general equipment, and I hope I will find advice for troop type dedicated debuff sets, like best set for Ranged debuff, best for Mounted debuff, and the rest. Hi 🙂👋 The video is old, but it’s still 100% relevant 👌 Yeah, there are other pieces of equipment that give debuffs, but the pieces shown in the video are the most appropriate choices to use. If you feel a different piece of gear would be better for you, then you can easily change it up. As for Partian gear, the debuffs are exactly the same as achaemenidae gear, just increased values. So no need to separately check those gears. Check the achaemenidae and ares options first, then just upgrade 😉👍

Hello aka, wanted to make a question. All your videos are all helpful and very well explained, but everyone is for k30 and above. I understand is the juicy part,but, what happens till there? From k26 or k27 till k30? What gear on sub gens? What skills on sub gens or wall Gen? There you have started to getting evolved with monsters,thieves, bosses,events bur u don't have access to all the fancy stuff, dragons, akamenadae gear etc and cannot reap the benefits of your keep when it comes in battlefield, when attacked etc. Thanks for your time and sorry for the long comment. Hi 🙂👋 Yeah, I have had similar comments related to the topic of making videos for the “not yet advanced” players. Not all of the content on my channel is for advanced players, but I understand that some of them can’t really be immediately helpful to players that are below K30 or so. I’ve decided that I will try making some content to address those needs. As a start, I’ll be making a video guide soon on gear for those kind of players. We’ll see how much interest it gets. I was just going to post same question... Achaemenid gear is with lvl 33 forge... To reach that you need to play Evony billions of years if you don't coin or you don't live in Evony... :(

@@killick8086 you don't need to play evony forever or coin to reach k33... being in a very active alliance will help you A LOT, and since you don't coin, do you best to follow the week events to get the most out of them. I personally advise you to not waste material with low quality equipment (only make Champion Equipment for your gathering gens) and save them for red equipment.. you will need them. GOOD LUCK! 👍

Is archaemenidae bow completely useless (for attacking and debuff)? I’ve got loads of the bow scrolls

I won’t say “completely useless”, but it’s not far off 😂 Compared to the other gear options, the achaemenidae bow is unfortunately not good. However, for someone that, for whatever reason, can’t make the requirements to craft the ares bow for attacking, the achaemenidae bow could be used. Also, while it’s debuffs aren’t good, crafting the bow will still help to complete the 6-piece set attributes for achaemenidae. So it could be used in that sense as well. 👌

Strangely I saw a video from Genghis that showed a subcity gen with Fearless Ares Armor which showed -30% Enemy Ranged Attack/-30% Enemy Siege Attack (max stars). "So some people put THIS on their sub general because they want the -30 range attack rather than the -15 debuff for all troops. So some people throw that in there and mix it up. There's more than one way to skin a cat." Is this a logical move to make?

That setup is for, what I call, “Specialized Debuffs”. As you move along and start getting more full achaemenidae sets for your subs, you will notice how your debuffs improve from your battle reports. One issue with the full achaemenidae set is that you might have some debuffs lagging behind. The most notable one is Mounted HP debuff. For some people, this is really no problem and they carry on with building their full achaemenidae sets. For those that would rather increase that debuff a bit, you can only do it with ares gear. Part of that setup includes the ares chest armor, because it also helps to increase ranged attack debuff as well. The main point here is that you are intentionally trying to increase a particular debuff. It’ll be your decision whether you want to do this or not. Of course, you’d be giving up the -15% set attribute, which you’d need to factor in. But all in all, at most, you’d have maybe 2 or 3 sub generals geared like this. The rest will still be full achaemenidae. I have just one of my generals geared up like this.

Aka, may I ask if you can validate the rumors about assistant generals not needing equipment?, also the rumors that duty generals assigned to buildings don't use equipment either?

Those are not rumors, both are facts. 👍 I would like to add for the second one though: Duty generals do not need gear, except temporarily at the point where you are putting them on to become either Special or Super Duty Officers. If you don’t know what I mean by this, check out my video on duty generals. I covered this there 😉👌

😂😂 thank you There are loads of wall generals that are good: Johnston, Leonidas, William Marshall, Robert the Bruce are the immediate ones that come to mind. Tbh, most of the wall generals out there are decent enough to use. I think it’d be harder to find a bad one (there are some 😅). So if you have any general that you like, feel free to go with them 👍 As for gear, with the exception of civilization gear, you’d generally be looking at full achaemenidae. The selection will depend on your general and what troops you are trying to buff up 👍

The accurate way to say it is: the debuffs from the sub cities will apply wherever the subs are attached to. So if they are attached to your keep, the debuffs will only apply on defense. If the subs are attached to your attacking march, the debuffs will apply when attacking. Note that debuffs from subs can’t apply to both offense and defense at the same time. It’s one or the other 👌

Hi 👋 You could refine the gear on your sub generals, but it is not necessary. Also, you would be refining for sub city stats like training speed, increased gold production etc, not the regular PvP stats 😉👌

There’s no easy way to answer that 😅 The main sources of materials are from killing bosses and completing events. Depending on what level you are at, the things you should focus on might shift a bit 👌

What about a General’s base debuff skill? These don’t debuff enemy troops? For example, I have Arminius on one of my Subs but when you look at a battle report, you see zero debuffs all the way down.

Yup, the General’s debuff skills apply. Would depend on the situation, and would need details to talk of specifics, but I’m pretty sure that there are other reasons why your subs don’t show up on your report

2 possible reasons come to mind Either your subs weren’t linked during the attack, or the keep’s buff were too low for you to debuff. I suggest trying again on a different and higher level keep. Preferably one with troops, if you can manage to arrange that 😅😅 Also, even if you don’t have gear, the debuffs from your debuff generals will still apply

If i place 7 x Sanada Yukimura as a sub-city mayor in all my 7 sub-cities, will his monster debuff and mounted troop attack buff stack up??? Presuming that I will include sub-cities in a solo attack against monsters. Sanada Yukimura has -5% Monster Defence Debuff and + 20 Mounted Attack Buff as default skill.

That’s an interesting question! 🤔 Tbh, I’ve never tried that before nor had occasion to. My initial feeling is that the debuffs should apply. I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t. That is something that’d need to be tested though. While this might have some unique situations where it could be applicable, my opinion right now is that it’d still be much more beneficial to rally such bosses and have your alliance mates help out with the debuff generals. That way, you could potentially get a lot more debuff gens than just 7. Plus, everyone enjoys the benefits and helps reduce the pain. That’s better imo 😉👍

Men the easy way to get materials are to kill normal monsters from Liv 30 up. I am the champion of monster event on my server and I have materials to feed 3 dragons for a month 🤭🤭🤭🤭

Unfortunately, neither Dragon gear, nor Kings gear have any debuff attributes that can be used in sub-cities. Without gear, the best advice I can give is to focus on getting debuff generals for your sub cities. Even without gear, their debuffs will apply. As you get further along in your development, you will also get the option of research in the Academy for debuffs 👌

Apologies if the translation is a bit off. If you are referring to the Specialty (debuff) for Sub-city generals that unlock at lv25, then yes! they can be applied in a fight. Both on offense and defense, as long as the sub-city with the general is linked 👍

Those types of generals aren’t really suited to be used as debuff/sub-city generals. With their skill, enemy troops still maintain their full strength. It’s only after you’ve wounded the troops that their skill becomes effective
