I do agree that Tony Jaa needs to do less acrobatic, maybe not now but in his future movies. As a martial artist myself I think martial art also needs to be more "user friendly", can be learned and performed by most people. Anyway I'd love to see both Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais together in a movie.

As a practitioner of Kali, Escrima, and Arnis; I am proud to know that techniques in Filipino martial arts descend and share similarities from Indonesia fighting arts. As a Filipino, I will always look upon the Indonesian people as my ethnic brothers and sisters. I earnestly hope that I can one day travel over to Indonesia(Pencak Silat), Malaysia(Silat Melayu), and even Thailand (which teaches Silat Pattani) to train and understand the methods, rituals, and customs of these lethal systems.

The influence of 'Indonesian' culture into bits of Filipino culture was when ancient Hindu Java empire Majapahit was the biggest that managed to come and rule the southern area of 'Philipines' in certain years of their ruling history. With that, assimilation or exchange of culture happened. That is why even when Filipino has their identity of keris and the rest of Nusantara has their own keris identity, we all share the same wavy blade design because in those Hindu-Buddhist ancient years of Nusantara, the main empires come from Java & Southern Sumatra. With these warriors from these empires spread around the Nusantara, they influence the fighting techniques of the natives that they rule over. The reason i quote 'Indonesia' and 'Philipines' because in those Hindu-Buddist eras of Nusantara region, there were no Indonesia or Philipines. No Malaysia too, yet.
