My brother in law and I get stuck into some water critters! We ended up with 10 of them by the end of the night (not all on camera).

You should try block cheese cut into small squares this worked very well for me when catching carp.

Surprising to see redfin that far down stream! Wouldn't eat ANYTHING out of that sect of creek, just too polluted! I live just around the corner from where you were fishing! Have seen some big eels and carp at the crossing at night!
@MaluHunterFishing
@MaluHunterFishing 2 жыл бұрын
LOL - it is heavily polluted that's for sure. Should be petitions going to local member to improve cleaning and catchment of garbage as it heads towards the ocean outlets.

@@MaluHunterFishing I agree! I grew up here, & all the old sewerage treatement water used to drain into the creek at Green's Rd crossing! + all the other effluent and storm water run off it's filthy as! There is no more treated water going in any more, but if you go down to Bangholme any still night, the whole area still reeks of SHIT, even tho there hasn't been ANY treated sewerage water added to it in alm 30 years! Anywhere UPSTREAM of Dandenong/Doveton, the creeks is still pretty good!

I spent heaps of time on Google Maps mate, most of my spots are found cruising around on there in Satellite mode. Tip: there are not many cross-overs on the Dandenong Creek :-D Good luck mate!

Mate the best way to find all the spots is Google Satellite view and scroll all around you. The Dandenong Creek runs for kilometres! :) Good luck finding a nice spot and the redfin too!
