Great channel just wanted to add that I caught white bass ,flounder , redfish , and a big pile of trout one night outta the San jac during the 2011 drought years ago

What kind of bait do I need for the catfish? Do you recommend using some kind of float?

Shad and I never use a float below the Dam just drop it to the bottom

Can you access the dam with a kayak

You can put in at big Eddy which is in Eisenhower Park and make your way up to the Dam but if the water is running it would be too difficult to get to
