I used to fish the Tennessee gas canal all Winter long. Park at Happy Jack and walk down the levee. During the Winter I always did good on Trout there.

Very cool sir. Plan on going fishing down there soon and ran across your video. Definitely going to get some of those fire tiger swim shad baits. What size braid do you use?
@SRadigFishing4 жыл бұрын
Berkley swim shad in 1/4 ounce size. Bass Pro markets the exact same bait as their Boss Shad.

@@SRadigFishing Thank you sir. What pound test do you use? I was thinking of using about a 30 lb braid

@@chadbrantley839 I use 20# Powerpro braid for casting distance. I am going to try some of their 10# braid out of the kayak where abrasion should not be a problem to see if it casts farther.

Yes from Oct. to March Southeast LA. is a bank fishing dream. Any dead end deep canal will pile up with fish after each cold front. 2 years ago I went to this spot 28 days during Nov. Massive fish fries with friends!

Hey this "public boat launch" is locked.
@SRadigFishing6 жыл бұрын
The boat club is locked and is private, the public launch is directly straight over the levee to the right of the boat club.
@SRadigFishing6 жыл бұрын
Launch to the left side it is deeper and then good water depth all the way down the canal.
