After a while I just wanted to identify the Red. I landed a 44 inch Jack Crevalle here a few years ago.

Nice video, so suspenseful! Steve, as a person who does not fish, could you tell me, when you were hauling in that huge fish, your reel was making a whirring noise, was that the fish trying to swim away from you? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Not a stupid question at all, that was the reel drag system that you can adjust to different tension so the fish can take line on a run. Released the Bull Red in good condition to catch another day.

The rod is an Angler 13 FATE model 7 foot 2 inch with a Daiwa Fuego 3000 size reel. The swim bait is a Berkely swim shad 1/4 ounce, 3 inch in fire tiger color. Thanks for watching.
