Been enjoying your videos. Lived in and around Corpus and Kingsville for 20 years. Fished mainly Baffin Bay - Kleberg Point, Center Reef, White Bluff, Black Bluff... Brings back lots of great memories. Looks like popping corks have continued to evolve the past 20 years. Thanks for the videos.

Congratulations Susan on a monster of a trout. Wow, what a catch! Thanks for including us on a fantastic trip. I fish that grass line often myself. The grass line at Emmords Hole on the Chapman Ranch area has been producing as well. Have yet to find my 30 incher. Once again Susan, coodos on a fantastic fish.

What a monster trout. Congrats to Susan. Ross, I also want to thank you for your videos. I moved here to Corpus Christi a couple years ago and semi-retired, working part time. I grew up in this area fishing here, but left CC in 75. I am basically learning how to fish all over again, getting away from natural baits and going artificial most of the time. Your videos are well produced, and I learn something from all of them. BTW,. I caught my personal best trout at the fish pass jetty last spring, a fat 29 incher, on a live pinfish. Its a blast, ain't it?

I’ve never fished with a cork like that, can I ask a stupid question,, are you setting the hook when the cork disappears or when you feel the fish?

I like the way you saw that it was a trout thinking it was a red, omg get the net, I caught a 32 incher in Rockport copano bay , I was on a private pier catching bait , with a spinning outfit with 8lb test , it took 20 minutes to get it in, made 4 runs , I thought it was a red by the way it ran straight out, specs usually run parallel,I said the same thing to my twin brother ,oh my God it's a trout get the net !!!
