Love this channel, spent 3 months in Thailand in 1990 and travelled across the country away from tourist areas. My favourite food was Som Tum (a very HOT papaya salad) that I purchased to accompany a piece of grilled chicken from a roadside stall.

This is Kung Op Wun Sen ( Steamed Prawn with Vermicelli) The ingredients to making that sauce are ginger, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce , garlic, vegetable oil , sesame oil, white paper, some spices, coriander root, shao xing rice wine., stoke soup.

Wait! For 100 Baht, you get three prawns (33 Baht each), right? For 150 Baht, you get four prawns or 37.5 Baht each. I assume 100 is in baht, which approx. 4.40 aud. That’s one prawn price uncooked in Australia, and we surrounded by sea. That means 2/3 of the money gone to Tax. 😭 take my advise, don’t come here.
