Make sure you tell your friends too! More people need to know about the many powerful features in Supercomp! Features like the ability to mix different log gammas together with sRGB/Rec.709 and output as whatever specific gamma you need or per-layer grain control. PLUS, some new features we added since this video was released including a one-button color match feature!

My dog just ran off with the section of my lower jaw that just dropped to the floor. WOW! I was just getting ready to do a difficult VFX chroma comp of a cowboy walking through a backlit doorway into a dusty saloon and was having trouble with the lightwrap and complexity of the dealing with the environment...and then I see this demo. It is a very good plugin! I think though, it lacks something important... You can't create a 3D camera within Supercomp. You cannot apply lights. You cannot 3D or 2D track. I don't know if Supercomp works with Mocha for planar tracking... You cannot place layers in 3D space in Supercomp so you can move them using 3D cameras. Almost every After Effects project uses 3D cameras and lights. I don't think if you can apply camera projection to the Supercomp layers..... I don't know if you can work with 3d layers withing Supercomp... If this plugin can incorporate all these, it will probably be the best plugin in the film industry market..

It’s designed to work with whatever you do in the AE comp. Your 3D animation, lighting, etc are still handled by AE.

I'm using it now and it's really good, super fast and a lot of options. I would only add an alpha/lumma matte features or at least copy the properties if you're using mattes in the comp. I have been having to precompose many layers just because of this missing feature. Other than that, it's awesome.

How do I make the light wrap an orange instead of the white?
Compositing Rec709 elements into LOG footage as briefly discussed at 45:20 was all I needed. The rest of this plug-in is gravy, Wrap it up folks we're done here.
