"I've got excellent computer skills; I have a Mattel Intellivision, 64K of memory, 4-color graphics, I heard they're coming out with a keyboard soon..." PRICELESS! Come Back Harold, Red Green, Bill and the rest of the gang
@michaelterrell3 жыл бұрын
Red Green is a low budget Canadian version of Rube Goldberg. Model trains run on AC. Mowers have magnetos, not generators. The put out a low current HV spike once per rotation, and any additional load kills the engine. That garage door opener also needs 120 or 240 VAC, 60 Hz AC power at at least 300 W. Those rusty cans would like start to rupture or leak.

It was a very low budget series, they reused the same locations for many things. Did you ever notice that the "The Odd Couple" and the "Laverne & Shirley" TV series both used the same appartent set for a lot of scenes?
@squonktears62653 жыл бұрын
@@michaelterrell lol, i was just joking . Red Green is one of my all time favorite sitcoms along with The Odd Couple tv series . The Odd Couple was one of those tv shows that was way better than the movie( i think it was written as a play originally by Neil Simon ?) it was spun off of . Jack Klugman without Tony Randall or visa versa would have never worked . my priority is dialogue wit and humor. so many big budget tv sitcoms and dramas are popular . but popular is not a synonym for good or great like the Red Green show and the Odd couple tv series' were.
@michaelterrell3 жыл бұрын
@@squonktears6265 I was a broadcast engineer, which required watching a lot f lousy TV, and I watched low budget Sci Fi and war movies as a kid. You would see the same NASA and military scenes in many of these. They couldn't afford to film a real dogfight, or a bomb hitting a target, and it was easier to use early NASA test launches instead of creating a realist looking fake.

God damn it KZbin I finally find something I really enjoy that didn't have any f****** commercials and you got to go riddle it full of f****** commercials. Do you know why I stopped watching TV. It was because of f****** commercials. I so hope you get this message. I'm leaving it on an indiscriminate totally random video on KZbin. But damn it I hope you see it. Just as soon as I enjoy something you riddle it full of commercials and that pisses me off. Basically 1 + 2 = 3 and I stopped watching TV and became a normal KZbin addict due to being able to find content that I liked and didn't have to wait on. And now I'm f****** waiting. The algorithm can kiss my ass. I'm sure this will probably slow down my connection time on KZbin. I get it I'll f****** finally pay. Maybe??
