The thing is that everybody knows that Hap is lying. They’re just trying to catch him off guard. And yet still, he is able to BS his way out after painting himself into a corner. I can think of a lot of examples from the show.

Odd enough as a teen the local kids played hockey in the street, the lakes and Missouri river were a crap shoot in my area to play hockey on in winter and the indoor arenas one was only for the up to high school teams with a single side curling rink off to the left and the other was for the Figure skating only.

If people had to judge Canada on one thing, old Canada(up to 2008-9ish), not new Canada which is a complete and total mess demographics-wise and everything, but if people had to judge old Canada based on one thing, I'd hope it's this show.
