Ukhti Don't consider yourself a revert. Allhamdurallah you were born as a Muslim. Everyone Iman fluctuates and that's normal. Don't put your past self down because your current self may be better. So long as you move past it, recognize your sin and repent. Surely Allah will carry out the rest and sees the effort you've put in don't think twice. Inshallah you will grow to be someone even better then right now. May allah allow for us to be a better muslim's from the ins and out Ameen.

subhaanallaah!! i an in the same boat, feeling lesser than my sisters in islam since i never really got the knowledge or help to begin practicing until i got a job recently and began paying for classes. i grew up in a small town where i was the only muslim and one of a few black kids, so that made for an interesting childhood. alhamdulillah i was where i was supposed to be, i look back with fondness. and i thank the almighty for giving me that drive again, i even bought my own quran with english transliteration to begin practicing my memorization and tajweed!! may allah guide us all, and keep you safe, know that your sisters in faith care and love you for the sake of allah 🫂
