Hey great to hear man. Cam is the Banshee guru. He did 2 motors for me. I have been very pleased with everything he did. The serval has been a great motor for me. We are lucky to have a great shop within driving distance. Happy riding!

Depending on type of riding you do a ported stock cylinder might be perfect...... for Dunes only riding I am very happy with this engine performance. It sucks more fuel when you go this size so plan on going to a larger tank for longer rides.

Dude those domes are larger than stock! You could be running 21cc domes and still be on 93 octane for way higher compression. I run 18cc domes in mine on 110 octane. Sweet bike man

Every builder has a different formula, one builders 24cc dome can be closer to another builders 21cc dome. I run 18cc domes on my 421 cub for race gas, others think that’s crazy, but my builder said that his 18cc dome is like another builders 20cc dome. Every builder has his own way of doing things.

did you need to get a longer clutch cable with the bar risers?

No I was able to use the stock clutch cable. There was enough room to make it work without any mods.I did raise the front brake line T valve on the frame with a little strap to extend it. I don't think this was necessary but I did it anyways no binding with the handlebars.

thanks for the tips on the ROX risers I will most likely be getting a set for my banshee. I have a +1 extended anti vibe Alba stem on my 450 and like it a lot but they are about double the price though. I used a metric brake line from autozone to extend my line on the 450 so I will probably get another one of them for the banshee. I had to get a longer clutch cable on the 450 as it would pull in when I turned to far each way. I WANT that motion pro throttle setup now! looks awesome. Banshee sounds great too by the way! sounds really crisp and looks like it has a nice and snappy throttle too.

The clutch cable is a motion pro. The throttle is a Chariot. EBay. I'm happy with it. You can adjust the positions with the lever to get it just right. I've tried them all and I like this one or the Cascade thumb lever for a stock throttle assembly. It runs great....it took me a long time to get the jetting dialed in and the gearing which is different for every machine and rider. Take care

West Coast Roller thanks yeah my girl actually has the Cascade extended thumb lever, I got it for her up in Oregon last time we were at the Dunes. She hates riding our other quads without it now. I'm so used to the stock lever it seems a little weird to me but I think if I rode with it I would get used to it.

yeah it's all mostly personal preference....some riders like the stock lever. Chariot offers a no hassle return policy if your not happy 100% refund! The first one I ordered they messed up the order. He shipped me the right one and slipped a $20 dollar bill in the box for the mess up.

What is the displacement of a stock cylinder 4 mil? I noticed that you have different cylinders on yours and was wondering if they are larger bore than stock to make it into a 421 cc.

Yes the cylinders I have are made for 68mm pistons. Stock jugs are size 64mm. 370, 392, 397cc can be stock cylinder 4 mil. Stock cylinders can accommodate up to 66mm Blaster pistons.

What's everyone's secret on keeping k&n pod filter's secure on the carbs?? I hear a lot of ppl haveig issues with them fallinf off..mine do to occasionally

The clamp that comes with the filter should be sufficient. You might have incorrect filter size.

Also try using a nut driver instead of a screw driver when tightening.

I want to see some riding videos... I have a 421 cub and I'm thinking of going expensive porting serval instead. If you look at my videos you can see the difference of the power delivery between stock and 421.

Ported Serval is a great motor for a play bike which is what I use mine for......the power band is smooth puling all the way through.....I'm super happy with mine.....go Redline!

My cub is hard to ride in the woods, so lazy under 6000 rpm. I only heard good about Cam but who does the best serval... I'm either going with Redline F.A.S.T. or Nate at KaN powersports
