The trinity red flesh sounds like a good apple to make red Spanish (Asturias) style hard cider with. Or to cross polloiate it with a sweeter apple such as a golden delicious and see what comes out of the seeds. :)

Jolly Rancher Flavor!? There was a apple my elementary school use to give us with our lunches and those apples were GREAT! Back in the 80’s. I’ve been trying to find this apple ever since I became an adult and I can’t find it at all! I live in Northern California. Any ideas where I an go to try varieties of apples that aren’t the typical store varieties?

Do you sell any starter trees? I'm looking for a dwarf apple with red flesh.

Curious what your experience with the Redlove apples is. I've heard that red fleshed apples have tendency to go mealy by the time that they are ripe, and that they are more prone to scab. Did you find that to be the case? How was the Redlove later? Thanks for sharing your experience. Edit: Trinity, same question!

Yes Flavor of the red loves improves as they ripen but also tend to go softer, not actually that mealy. Redlove odysso hangs late amd is crisp for quite a long time. They all go mealy at some point. Just pick a time when you like it best.
