EMINEM is a smart person. In 'Till I Collapse he said: Redman is the best rapper of all time followed by JAY Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Andre 3000, Jadakiss, Kurupt, Nas and he would find his place after these artists. BUT he made songs with Redman and JAY Z. Most people will tell you that EMINEM murdered both on these tracks. Which (for most people) would mean that he is better than Redman and JAY Z. This would imply that he is over Pac and Big while the majority of listeners think he gives credit to those artists (he put himself at the end of his list). Same goes for Nas' list. He said: "Who is the best? / Pac, Nas and Big". The death of Pac and Big together with his hypothesis implies that he is the best rapper alive. Old school rappers are clever and you should never accept anything they say as a meaningless phrase.

Every time I see a Redman interview I reminisce about a time when lyrical content and delivery was a make or break situation. Rawkus even had a few albums called the "Lyricist Lounge". I believe when rappers like J.Cole, Kendrick, Big KRIT came in they were expecting competition, rivalries, community but instead got a wasteland of Zombies, greed and high stench of jealousy for no reason.
