EMINEM is a smart person. In 'Till I Collapse he said: Redman is the best rapper of all time followed by JAY Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Andre 3000, Jadakiss, Kurupt, Nas and he would find his place after these artists. BUT he made songs with Redman and JAY Z. Most people will tell you that EMINEM murdered both on these tracks. Which (for most people) would mean that he is better than Redman and JAY Z. This would imply that he is over Pac and Big while the majority of listeners think he gives credit to those artists (he put himself at the end of his list). Same goes for Nas' list. He said: "Who is the best? / Pac, Nas and Big". The death of Pac and Big together with his hypothesis implies that he is the best rapper alive. Old school rappers are clever and you should never accept anything they say as a meaningless phrase.

So you're saying since he "out rapped" the top two people on his list he is implying that it makes him better than them, and everyone under them in that list. Bit of a reach but i get your logic. I think he was just being humble

Every time I see a Redman interview I reminisce about a time when lyrical content and delivery was a make or break situation. Rawkus even had a few albums called the "Lyricist Lounge". I believe when rappers like J.Cole, Kendrick, Big KRIT came in they were expecting competition, rivalries, community but instead got a wasteland of Zombies, greed and high stench of jealousy for no reason.

More creativity in the 2000s More bigger artists. Better Producers (Neptunes,Kanye) More artists that had an impact in the long run. Just better overall. Saying 90s era was the golden age is like saying poison is good for you. Only oldheads and Hip hop historians have that opinion. Also 2Pac is highly overrated. Andre 3000 is the greatest.

So beautiful and old school . Last year Cormega dropped his Mega album ( not to be confused with his Mega Philosophy from 2014 ) is excellent I think you'll really enjoy it . Him and Method are just some of my favorite rappers. They have so much fun and none of that crazy beef. They are just like when WWF figured out it should stop lying about it being really real and that it was entertainment. Those are still some of the best athletes in the world, (wrestlers), but they understood everyone made money if they took care of each other.
