I’ve owned Ozone for a while but these lessons are hands down the most inspiring and informative I’ve ever seen. I feel like I just bought a new plug in.

Very hands-on and offering concrete examples with all the rationale behind your decision-making. Great help in mastering, thanks!

Fantastic tutorial - clear, concise, informative. What stood out to me is how as you proceeded though each area, you would say, 'here's what I would do in this situation, and here's why'. Then sometimes you would add, 'if the situation was thusly different, I would do this other thing, and here's why'. Within two reasonable-length videos, you provided summary yet complete coverage of your entire mastering process using a particular toolset (Ozone), and you also managed to provide adequate coverage of the toolset itself along the way. This type of 'concise yet comprehensive' coverage is very enabling to us viewers. I look forward to enjoying and learning from more of your work. Thank you, thank you!

This really helped me. I have Ozone Standard, and I used your videos as a step-by-step guide to tuning the master on my latest track. It really helped know what changes to listen for when adjusting the modules. Thank you very much!

I used Ozone a few years ago but completely fell out of music in the interim and am only now rediscovering - thanks for this re-introduction! (and also everything else haha)

Just when you start learning how to use 9, Izotope drops 10 on you :) I hope we get to sit with 9 for a bit longer. It's already amazing!! Thanks for a stellar part 2.

As others have mentioned, we'd love to see another video from you of the flavor: How I Mix using Neutron 3 Advanced (maybe a little Nectar sprinkled in too, if you like). I know this may be a bit presumptuous, but whether or not you get around to doing it, please take our request as a compliment... I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask ;-)

I’m just getting into Neutron + Ozone and this was super helpful to see your mastering workflow!! Would you consider a walk-through on your mixing process? 🙏 Thanks for the awesome videos!

my mixing process is more of a mess than my mastering process, but if i can find a way to distill it i will.

Can you use parallel compression on a whole track to fatten by adding more weight and presence for hip-hop?.

Many thanks for your brilliant tutorial video! Could I ask, why did you set the maximiser to -9 LUFS, if the KZbin works with -14 LUFS? Thanks in advance for your response.
@RedMeansRecording2 жыл бұрын
Run a Skrillex track through a LUFS meter and tell me what you find. Different music hits different LUFS levels.
@hollsound2 жыл бұрын
@@RedMeansRecording You're probably right, but now I'm completely confused. 🙄 Until now, I thought KZbin muted everything - above 14 LUFS...

At how much lufs I should mix my track before I put it to ozone? I do old school hip hop with vocals on it. And what should be my target lufs for streaming? I tend to master at -12 to -11,5 lufs Great video btw, thanks alot!

You'll want your peaks to hit around -6 db for mastering and not have compressed your individual tracks to hell, but yeah.

Wait dude, you said let's hit Learn and then didn't hit anything, it just started Learning. I've noticed you do that a lot which makes it difficult to see what you're clicking. Otherwise great and informative tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
