I would advise not to update to HyperOS at the moment. Xiaomi has always been finicky with their software updates. Let the update sit in for a while and watch the reviews/comments of others. Don't want a repeat of the Poco incident.

Note 13 is better in terms of faster processor by very little😅, a far better screen and 3 yrs software updates Oppo A78 just has a faster charging with 67 watts charger (30mins difference at most) And it's cheaper.

I have both, Note 13 is better if you are a gamer. It can handle Genshin Impact smoothly in low (not lowest) settings. It does smoothly in medium settings but I prefer to make sure and go a little lower.
