I think the k20 / 9T offers better value for money than the k20 pro for several reasons. Reason 1: If you know about chip manufacturing, you'll know that not all chips of the same model have same quality. There're good lots and bad lots during production. It's very possible that xiaomi paid less than samsung & oneplus for the SD855 chip to keep the price down and bought those bad lots from qualcomm. I've seen several videos on antutu benchmark comparison between oneplus 7 pro & k20 pro and k20 pro scores less than oneplus 7 pro on all of those videos. The score also decreases over time during continuous cpu load due to heat whereas oneplus 7 pro shows a constant performance. On the otherhand, k20 is one of the first SD730 based device and less likely to have those "bad" lots of the chip from qualcomm. The gpu performance is not that great but cpu performance is pretty comparable with last years SD845 according to antutu benchmark. Reason 2: talking about gpu performance of SD730, adreno 618 is enough for modern day games according to me. i think adreno 640 gpu of sd855 is an overkill for 2019 games..maybe just perfect for games of 2-3 years later. But aren't you going to change your phone after 2-3 years?? Reason 3: 4k 60 fps video on k20 pro is useless according to me. Because both k20 and k20 pro has 1080p display. And i don't think a lot of people have got 4k monitor on their computer. And even if you do, what's the point of watching a shaky video on 4k?? The camera has no OIS, remember?? Reason 4: both of them comes with 18 watt stock charger. So if you want to enjoy the 27 watt charging of k20 pro, you'll need to spend more money on a separate and expensive charger. That makes the price difference between the two devices even more. Reason 5: Let's forget everything and just say that you want to feel the charm of having a phone with the best processor in your pocket. But it's not gonna last for long..qualcomm will release a better chip (maybe sd865) next year.

Very true man. In term of performance, SD730 is way better than SD835(which i'm currently using).The performance facts of SD730 vs SD855 is unsurpassed.For everyday use, u dont need 855. In terms of camera performance, both are identical,even if the k20 pro can do 4k60fps.Is no stabilization, so the video is no usable. Personally, i'm stuck between Asus ZF6 and one of these two.But, Asus has delivery problems in Europe, especially my home Romania, and K20 pro has no 4G network capabilities( B20 and B3 for LTE /LTD).So, i think my choice is K20, which is compatible with 4g network, is very cheap and is very capable. Some chips perform very well, some just barely fulfill the requirements and some just don't work at all. Then the manufacturer sorts them in different lots according to their quality and sells the best chips at premium prices and the "not so good" ones at low prices. I assume you took me wrong for the use of my term "bad lots" but what i wanted to mean is just "not the best ones". Hope you've understood my point. And even if you don't, it's okay... i respect your opinion and i hope you'll respect my opinion, too.

The cameras are the exact SAME! The only difference is that you can shoot 4k *30fps* video on the K20 and 4k *60fps* video on the K20 Pro. This is due to the fact that the snapdragon 730 is not fitted to treat 60 fps on 4K video, so it would be useless to put a Sony IMX586 sensor on the K20. So basically the only difference is snapdragon 855 on the K20 Pro (More powerful but also consumes more battery, the snapdragon 730 is very capable though)

Cameras are almost the same, but I read that k20 won't be having DC dimming, 8 layer cooling, etc. Also instead of telephoto sensor, there will be a depth sensor. And k20 will have a normal amoled while pro version has Samsung amoled. I dnt know whether all these are true, but even then, is the pro version that much better to pay the extra money?

So I wanted to know if the non pro version provides better value for money. Cz in china, the price difference is around 500 ( 5000 in India). Is the specs difference worth the money?
