I strongly believe as with bs6 norms..Motor manufacturers are selling of the old vechiles as upgrades ... Mobile manufacturers are also doing same by just changing names and minor updates to sell of their products before 5g .... 5g may be launched next year in India ... So upgrading to a new 4g phone is utter waste ... There fore am waiting with my redmi note 4 for xiomis next 5g note series...Well as far i know even after long use my 64gb note 4 is still going extremely strong .....

They're not complaining about the phone itself, it's as good as the "previous" model, actually it's basically the same, which means it's great for the price. They complain about the lack of innovation from model to model, it was a bad move from xiaomi.

What things didn't like about this phone. 1)snap. 636 🙁 2)big notch with useless 2mp cam. Instead Mi should gave to Infrared sensor to better face unlock. 😕 3)almost in 2019 MI use micro USB. 😂 4)still hybrid slot 😂 5)not so special design (typical) Pros.. 1)thank you Mi for not compromise on battery dep.4000mah 2)12+5 mp same cam. But huge improvements in terms of quality and optimization. 3)and most important for me I got it for 12,999 best deal on black Friday sale. Hope you agree with this 👍🙏🇮🇳

this was already foreseen . How much can company cut cost and provide so called "Flagship" grade performance and features and this is how Xiaomi brought phone to the table this time. Same design, iterative front panel, very little software tweaks( just to cope up with new chip sets) and thats it. Sure it would appeal to a lot of customers but this goes to show that budget phone market has reached a saturation point where a person can buy any similarly priced phone irrespective of the brand and be happy with it because nothing much is different except the outer shell. Xiaomi used to stand out among its competitors but they also hopped into the same bus and play safe.

Nice Review. Its definitely best budget phone for 12.5K as of today offer with HDFC card, its worth buying As Rupesh pointed out, not great succeeder to NOTE 5 pro. if u own 2 years old budget phone.. this is worth. Realme 2 pro is one of decent competitor for this phone.

Companies deliberately pushes such updates that will deteriorate the picture quality. This is to promote their new range of products. Initially RN5 PRO camera performance was really great but now after so many updates the quality seems to be like other phone with budget range.

watching this with my redmi note 5 AI. So far the best xiaomi phone for me! I have S9+ and iphone 7 plus, but I always go back to Redmi Note 5 AI! Maybe its the design, battery, screen to body ratio, dual sim, expandable memory, the gesture control same as iphone. If you have Redmi note 5, its not advisable to upgrade to redmi note 6. There were only minimal changes, better yet wait for the Redmi Note 7.
