I got the 4GB ram one for €200. This is an amazing phone, period. You get everything you'd expect from a flagship plus an unbelievable battery, which lasts for more than 2 days with my use (no games). I just can't believe people spend €1200 for phones to get similar, or even worse experience.

Also although I was worried about the MiUI operating system coming from stock Android, mine was upgraded to MiUI 10 just a couple of days ago, and I have to say it's excellent, as versatile as any other Android system, and with great features like split screen and very easy to use gestures (optional)! I got used to it really fast!

I just bought one ... It's a great phone , good camera with realistic colours and plenty of detail . The speaker isn't loud but it's clear . The battery could last for two days , but it's better to charge it after one day , rather than let it drain .

I use a Acer Liquid Z630 (i know nobody has never heard of it) for the last 3.5 years now (bought it in November 2015) The Glass and the Headphone Jack is broken, the microSD Slot isn't working correctly (Android freeze), the CPU is slow ... Type C ports can be USB 2.0 spec, in which case they are no faster at all, they just use a better plug. Something you should check in future reviews, if there are any.

@@ABHISHEKGHOSHfcb let us say many factors play rule here , before aug 2016 1 usd = 9 egp but after aug 2016 1 usd = 18 egp , plus in last 3 years the egp lost 40-50% of its value due to inflation , so if i bought this phone from 3 years i would pay 1530 egp , and my salary equal 1250 retaing its full value , but now my salary still equal 1250 which actually = 750 in value and the phone price become 3666 . so it sounds really ridiculous.

So got the phone today. Pretty buggy and annoying UI. I also don't like the fact you can't disable Chrome or other Google apps like movies and music or even Duo. I also don't like the spyware it installs. Namely Facebook services. Not the actual app just the background services. I never thought I'd have the same issues with this phone as I did with Samsung.... Need to root fast. Messages can't disable notifications entirely. App drawer is left with blank gaps when moving icons. Very very annoying.

@@MrTerry0505 - I would rather I got the note 5. I have come to the conclusion that I don't like 18:9. I had a mi max 2, a mi max 3, and I still carry the mi max 2 and even bought a spare minute max 2. I find I actually see Less on the 7 inch 18;9 mi max 3!

@@MrTerry0505 - If you don't need the great battery life? I would get the Redmi 7 because the notch, like all notches renders that bit of screen in the corners useless. I wouldn't mind the teardrop so much. Of course the R7 I is Glass body and not as sturdy as the metal bodies, SD660 and smaller battery makes battery life suffer but it games marginally better than SD 636. I would highly recommend, the max 2 if you can handle a big phone, followed by Redmi note 5 (cheaper now) over the RN6 with notch which is disabled by default for a reason. Save money with the 5, or Get the 7 for more screen and performance. The new cameras are not better in low light and that's the only place the RN5 lacks. I hope this helps.

@@MrTerry0505 - It's great. Great cameras, great battery life. Fast and fluid with 636. Good cameras. Definitely recommend the 64 GB model. I bought my assistants the RN5 as company phones and they are inseparable. I bought the RN6 but it's okay but not a step up. It will make a great gift for someone one day. Nothing wrong with it, just not a step up. Buy whatever is cheapest in 4gb 64gb trim.
