Now that Redmi became independent, we can say that: 1. Redmi will focus on their "budget" flagship using high midrange SoC (SD660, 675, etc.). 2. Pocophone will focus more on their "budget" flagship using High-end SoC (SD800 Series). 3. Mi Series will focus more on premium build + Premium SoC flagship. I like where this is going and Xiaomi's midrange if they continue to be better then they put up a very good competition at their target pricepoint.

@1:15 The price of the MI series is already higher than those of Pocco Phone and Redmi. The gap between Redmi Note and Mi A/X is already substantial. I don't think they will pull a BBK Electronics. @1:20 The Mi Mix 3 is the flagship but the Mi8 wasn't cheap either but became more affordable over time. Nope, they probably don't change their business model for the sake of competing with OnePlus but got rid of the micro usb port as the hallmark of the Redmi series.

The thing is nfc needs tiny spaces that conducts radioactive waves that's gets obstructed by the material they use in the back Flagships are designed with this in mind and they have materials that allows these waves to pass by. Nfc itself is cheap but the body design would make it expensive
