Well, thanks, broke my case trying to follow this. My son then explained that they glue it so you need to melt the glue first. If it does not just pop off i would recommend buying the battery and dropping at a shop.

Which Redmi Note 9 version you have, As you know they have about 9 different models, Few Needs heating to remove, and this model does not need to heat it.

Hi, great instructions, worked fine to replace the battery but I must have nudged something in the camera lenses when reassembling. Now pictures are all blurry, but not in a way that says the lens is dirty - it looks more like a double image. I don't know why this thing has four lenses but my guess is one of them is out of alignment. Any suggestions on how to fix? I took it apart again and looked at everything, it all seems right, seated in the right places, etc... Thanks!

Holy shit that's so much more user-friendly to replace than on my Huawei which required a heat gun to unstick the battery adhesive.

I think xiaomi and oneplus battery removal is pretty easy. I think even new huawei models are adapting to an easier process.

He put phone battery adhesive stripes. You can also use double sided tape, to make sure the battery won't move in there.
