Looks fairly simple. You'd need a high powered shop vac (6 hp or higher), upgrade to the thicker hoses, get the PVC pipes to fit, clamp it all down. The PVC downspout goes in the bucket of cellulose. The hose inside the wall.

this didnt turn out to be effective. i went back into youtube and found a guy usiung a leaf mulcher/blower works great

Personally I always wear footwear when I'm blowing in cellulose, it's just how I do it; I tried it without and I just wasn't comfortable.

Yea i used a leaf mulcher/ vacuum and some 3” drier ducting.. just had to break it up a bit otherwise itd get fetched up in the mulcher.. throws out some good fluffy stuff though. Gotta have 2 people otherwise youll be feeding and making a big pile at the other end..

That is a pretty cool method if you can do it with one hand while holding a camera in the other. How long did it take you to do the project?

well as it turns out it was better to use a $50 leaf vac/blower from harbor freight

Why are you blowing in cellulose on a wall you could remove the sheetrock and just use batting??? You can still see the sheet rock screws and no tape or mud on the walls. Did you forget to insulate the walls before putting up the sheet rock???🤣

I think maybe it was for demonstration purposes. Our home was built in 1960 and has no insulation inside the exterior walls. They're already textured and painted, so unless you have open studs, and haven't put in new sheetrock, this might be some peoples' only option. If it were bare studs, going with the rolled fiberglas insulation might be the faster route.
