You are pure Genius John! First just by using the WRO made you a smart man!! LOL I love the way you improvised with the stacking! The Brussel sprouts looked just the way I like them, still firm and not mushy! Then I could have made a meal of the salad by itself! Fantastic job John!

Anonymoose's Corner My daughter brings a shaker bottle of Wolfe Rub Citrus to the table for almost everything. We had steak, sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts the other night and the steak got Wolfe Rub Original after the cook for her and she layered on the Wolfe Rub Citrus on the sweet tater and sprouts. She won't eat a sweet tater without it!! LOL

Our Twin Life And these were reeeeeeeally good, too! LOL! Hopefully the weather is finally breaking a little up there, so maybe you can roll the grill up close to the front door and get it fired up again.

Not too cheap, too frugal and creative

Pat Farrell Haha! Frugal and creative sounds much more polite than cheap. Either way, it's right in line with the "nearly free" philosophy.

Whoa Moosie. That Hog must have weighed 500 lbs! That's the biggest rack of ribs I've ever seen. Well I knew you'd have no problems cooking that massive rack because you are a Grill Master extraordinaire!! As always I love to watch you cook and your presentation is always wonderful. Hugs!

***** Well... Your Mom did warn me against inviting you. She said you'd probably get blood all over my carpet, like you do to hers, or else you saw up the furniture. Sooooo... I kinda hesitated... :-)

I was going to say I wish I lived closer so I could raid your refrigerator for leftovers, but I'm not too sure you have leftovers.
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
Saint Rude Haha! And you're right. Leftovers don't live long around here. I did manage to squeeze two meals out of these, but it would've taken a midnight raid to get your claws on them.

Looks delicious, as always. Great idea with stacking the ribs like that. I would never have thought 2x4s were a safe wood to cook with. Are they not treated? This was a low heat cook, but I'd still have been paranoid. Not that I know much about lumber. I could be completely wrong for all I know :D
@Anonymoose9 жыл бұрын
The Skinny Chef Thanks! I don't know why I never thought of it before. The 2x4s were just plain untreated pine, no chemicals. I wouldn't think of using pressure treated; there are some pretty ugly chemicals in it. Now that I've proven that it works, a next step will be to engineer something a bit prettier, without scrap 2x4s. LOL
