Hey RCG! Another small truck from the General Motors family is the Chevy S10/Gmc Sonoma. The 4.3L v6 is just a 350 with two lest cylinders so parts are cheap and it’s reliable. They made a crew cab version of the pickup or the S10 Blazer. I had a blazer for quite a few years. So simple, besides some Front end work we did no repairs besides maintained it! The 4L60 trans is fine if you are not towing super heavy with it. Our had almost 180k on it and it ran and shifted fine when we sold it! Great video!

You will figure everything out. I did have a chevy trailblazer and it was a very good vehicle, from what I can see the Colorado has the same engine and transmission as what I had. On another note I really enjoy that you do the physical sponsorships like you do. I see so many channels do the spill for stuff knowing good and well they don’t use that crap. Keep doing what you’re doing my friend and following your passion. You are one of my favorite channels. I love the family oriented content. Hope y’all had a marry Christmas and happy new year.

The Tractor flipping was always entertaining to me. I'd love to see you do that again. Mowers/Garden Tractors that were Frankensteined together were kind of inspiring to the rest of us.

Where I live people want hundreds of dollars for their lawn tractor that ran when parked 20 years ago type stuff....definitely something in my area that you don't bother with is finding lawn tractors, lawn mowers, or anything with an engine here period as people seem to want a fortune for their scrap metal.

Its not a pickup but a Ford Escape is rated as having the best 4X4 system on the market rite now , My Mom has a 2017 Escape and the only trouble She has had is a couple of sensors went out. From what I have herd the Colorado's are junk if You want to do truck things with them .

Ok The Chevy Colorado isn't the Greatest truck and the all wheel drive normally doesn't kick in till it moves so far after being in the mode. A short box Siverado or a GMC Seira Extended Cab are both good. I have both and they work really good!!

Not sure the Ranger swap would work as you think. The E series frame/body is a lot wider than a Ranger frame/body. The automatic transmissions in the Rangers were one of the bigger drawbacks to them. The manual transmissions weren't too bad. Wouldn't mind a manual Ranger again, but I don't think I'd care to have another automatic one....people never took care of them, and they are known for problems, so skipped maintenance on the transmission fluid changes and filter replacements is what you will typically end up with and not worth the money people want for them because once you have to dump money in a transmission replacement/rebuild you are into negative equity real quick.

Frame rail is wider body on the other hand on the Van is only 3 inches wider then the ranger. It is close to the point I debated swapping ranger front seats into the Van-Haulen build.

@@redneckcomputergeek Might be an interesting project at some point. Swap the Ranger Body to a Van chassis but with the 7.3L Diesel instead of the gas engine LOL.

Yay yay yay tractor hunting begins now we're talking some videos on the thing about the truck we were just looking into a truck too I like the Chevy Colorado I don't like the big tires on them the 20 inch 30 inch I like the 14s 15s best way when it's time to buy new tires you ain't got to take out a personal loan. We have a equinox I have a bad back I just can't take the rough riding anymore so that's why we were looking for a truck Jesse looked at you like she was going to tear your head off I have the same problem with the dyslexia I had it so bad I couldn't even tell what left and right was I told my dad told me put up your left hand put your thumb out and you're pointing finger up and there's your left hand and I'm going through cancer treatment right now prostate cancer got something as a injection and a few months later I'll go on to the pill anyways that's why I'm sharing about tractor hunting season I need some videos I'm even watching your old videos anyways thank you for this video and we'll see you the whole next year of 2025

I glad that you do physical sponsorship I'm tired of hearing about raid showdow legends game and all those video games and food products sponsorships. I just want someone to give me honest reviews about shop products. Also here havw you loked into 4×4 kits for E series vans I have a question didn't Jessie have a full sized truck that she owns what happened can that be fix. Also on the Chevrolet gmc Colorado canyon I had 09 extended cab one they good the transmission is just a 4 speed 4l60 e gm transmission are really good i would stick to first gen canyon and Colorado because of the engine is good too the 4 and 5 cylinder engine is part of the atlas engine family for the first gen trailblazer line of 6 cylinder which is a really good engine look for reviews on KZbin and internet and can you put a wishlist on what you need for the mote carlo so us viewer can sponsor it like i wants to know how those china knocked off automotive carburetor works well thanks to you and your family and I hope for a better 2025 year for you

Her old truck is to far gone. We are planning to part it out and junk it next summer. The 5.3 in it was a junkyard swap with no known millage so we might pull it for the monte in the future to learn with. On the 4x4 van stuff. I do not plan to at this time. But I am debating a an F250 axle swap to go LSD and better axle spline count. We will do a parts list on the monte like we did on the Garage build when we get it on the lift.

@@redneckcomputergeek Don't need to swap the axle to get LSD, just install and LSD in the axle that's already there. A Quigley 4x4 conversion is EXPENSIVE and gives you another couple inches of ride height in the process too. Tons of cheaper options for a 4WD vehicle if you need something 4WD rather than trying to add it to a 2WD vehicle.

Van axle is a different spline count then the f250 making the LSD for it twice the cost. Might as well swap to the truck axle to gain the full after market.

As far as scripted, in video sponsorships go, my rule since the last year or two is, no matter how much I like the creator, or the subject of the video, I specifically click out of the video at the point of the sponsor ad. I know if a lot of viewers do that, it will show in analytics where people stopped viewing. YT is nauseating and borderline toxic with the amount of commercials we need to constantly swat away, that I refuse to sit through abother 2-3 mins of an in-video ad read. And quite frankly, if I see this is going to be a trend with that channel, I stop watching their videos altogether. I know times are tough and people are trying to maximize their experience making videos on YT but at that point combined with excessive merchandise plugging and sponsor reads, it becomes a negative return. I don't mind your product videos because it's my choice to watch or not.
