Hey Pete, found your channel recently and I am now addicted to it and am currently binge watching all your videos! Very educational with that little “twist” you add…awesome! I would really like your opinion as to what would be the best new sled(s) to purchase. I know this is an open ass question so let me set some points. I am in my mid 50’s and will be riding 90% on groomed trails with the occasional lake crossing “rips”. We own a Yamaha RMax 1000 that we rip through the Northwoods during the spring, summer and fall and are completely satisfied with it so we are familiar with the Yamaha brand. However in the past we were on “team Polaris” regarding snowmobiles. I am very worried and cautious about Polaris’s workmanship after watching you tear down that 2021 sled recently! That’s was just not right to me either. Anyway as I said I would really value your opinion as a mechanic and enthusiast. Frankly at this point I am not brand loyal and would be happy to ride any of the 4 major manufacturers. If I were to ask any dealer of course “their brand is the best”! BTW we will be purchasing 2 sleds, one for me and one for the Mrs. Thanks for the quality videos and I keep checking for that merch release.

I'm a yamaha fan but for the new sleds I guess I'd say yamacat lol 🤣 can't beat the sidewinder for power and reliability of the motor and the cat chassis rides nice too! the newer viper has a great power plant as well with the 1050 non turbo as well but the sleds are the same as the arctic cat versions however I think the yamahas have better clutches. but the apex is a great trail sled and cheaper too! still heavy but ya ride them on the trails not carrying them around on your back lol. I know I crap on polaris and skidoo but honestly the new polaris's have good power and they feel light to ride I mean if ya have warranty on it, all the recalls are fixed and trade it in before she grenades then not too bad lmao 🤣 I'd really like to see one of the new boosts in action!! they are supposed to be pretty quick! hope that helps 🍻

When I was working on small engines in a shop we had a big batch of golf carts come through, one of which was a Harley branded one. It was pretty much the same as all the others and I didn't really feel it deserved the branding, this one on the other hand... probably needs a 5 point harness more than Harley branding.

I had a Yamaha r1 golf cart I'm guessing it's called that we had swapped a Polaris sportsman 500 cc engine and put it inside of the golf cart we used the same frame of the and the same frame of the bike this welded them together and fit the body of the golf cart over the bike over the motor and everything and made it into a golf cart redneck side by
