I remember listening to Cotton Eye Joe (where did he go?) Back in like 2002 while I was 13 and raking the leaves in my hometown in Tennessee. I kid you not, I've listened to Rednex for like 15 years. I now make techno, trance, and EDM myself at 29. I guarantee you guys were one of my first influences to EDM along with Cascada and DJ Tiësto. This new video and song are hilarious and have your humorous style throughout. I'm glad you guys have found success and have continued making music. I wish you the best from Tennessee, USA!

James Higdon in cookeville there actually was a cotton eyed Joe. and later a place called rodeo Bob's, they frequently played the song and everyone always got lit. in my home town only me and another guy were the only people who made music on our computers, and barely had access to music our records store where we could get electronic music. luckily they had oakenfold, orbital, and Moby to get me started. I feel like you and I might have grown up around the same generational electronic music at the same ages.
