The medal was the literal last card (glitch was placed at the bottom from date action). Crazy!

Just played with King Candy last night… super fun. But it was a rough starts my wife fated me and discarded venelope and stuck Ralph’s medal on the bottom… it was an up hill battle. 😂 I don’t know if you can help with a rule issue that came up last night… I used the fate action on Shere Khan, revealed Mogali and a card that said “choose a location, heroes at that location get +1 strength.” Obviously I did not want Mogali to come out into play, so I opted to play the effect card… My wife thinks it was an invalid play as there were no heroes to get the benefit… but the way I read the card, it doesn’t sound like the location is required to have heroes, just choose location and heroes at that location get +1 strength… Maybe you could help clarify? Anyway, keep up to good coverage on Villainous!

@@Poweranimal84 You may play Choose a location even if there are no heroes there. As long as you choose a location :.. you played the card!! It is valid!

King Candy for breakfast. How sweet ;P I can see in a two player game King Candy have a real tough time. His fate actions are rather dependent on where he is on the race track (and two of them can be covered by heroes) where as an opponent could be fateing every turn if they chose (Syndrome and Madam Mim come to mind as serial fators). Also he has limited fating choices, especially during the race against the quick Villains like Prince John, Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts (or SHere Khan). Certainly an interesting villain but against others he is weaker (and if the medal is at the bottom of the deck he is really going to have a tough time. Still well done although you got to stop eating so much candy and slow down. Have a good one.

So for this video I decided to play King Candy along side you just to see if I could win with him faster and I managed to win on turn 11 but to be fair I got super lucky because I got the Hero Medal in my starting hand. Not only that but I was able to make a huge play using “Can’t be Allowed to Race” to move Taffyta and a Racers to Ralph’s location, use Taffyta’s ability to play Duncan and Wynnchel which then gave me enough strength to defeat Ralph.
