They certainly don't make 'em like this anymore. It's a scent that kicked my nose-a$$ the first time I smelled it. 😄 Wasn't prepared at all back in the day. Still prefer Boss Number One from the genre, but I consider it to be one of the best from the brand. Loved the review Steven.

Some challenging scents I tried were Frederic Malle The Night and Bortnikoff Tabac Dore. Those were too much for me. Yikes talk about barnyard. However, Dana Tabu was just right. Which Tabu Vintage came out in 1932. And that can be challenging too. I'll have to try Bogart Furyo and maybe Van Cleef and Arpels Tsar. I hear Tsar is good too.

This one makes me think of Incense and Funerals in the same way Raghba Wood Intense causes me to think about Church. :) It's special for sure, and I really like it.

I know this is an old video but I just got this yesterday and fell in love with it this it. It smells weird in a good way when I sprayed it it smells like cough syrup but a sweet one and when it drys down in turns into straight up vanilla it’s sweet on my skin I get a slight animalic smell but not too animalic.

It has that same urinal cake vibe that I get from Kouros with a bit of honey like Lapidus Pour Homme and maybe just a splash of Halston Z-14. Super outdated but also smells like it could've been released by a small niche brand today...

I ordered a bottle from Fragrancebuys a short while ago, but I suspect this one has been reformulated since my bottle (circa 2013) lasts a full 24-hours after two-sprays, and is a nuclear, animalic, scent bomb that kicks-like-a-mule and brings tears to the eyes of everyone in a small auditorium. Love it, but not well-received so it's my work outdoors scent. Conversely, much like my 1993 bottle of Vintage Sanofi Kouros...one-half spray under the tee shirt and it's good to go at the office for 8-hours. As far as this being a Classic Amber fragrance...amber is way down on the list of more prominent notes (5th or 6th) in my bottle, which leads me to think reformulation. We shall see. Regardless, glad to see you reviewing such a masculine fragrance. Cheers!

Be REAL careful with this one, folks. 99% of the bottles you're going to find on eBay are a cheap reformulation that lacks the original Kouros-like animalics of the original. I've tried both versions side-by-side and the reform is an unfortunate shadow of the powerful original. The labels are slightly different, too.

I do get Civet for about 1 hr then it takes a awesome turn to Kinda a sweet smelling smoke Magic Time ((( Incense Powdery and tobacco, Amber, ))) OMG at this point it is Incredible smelling .I LOVE IT AFTER 1ST HR . Here is what it the( Civet smells like) 1st hr Naturally the byproduct of the anal glands of exotic civet cats which smells very pungent and fecal ---> but which gives an amazing radiance and warmth to florals. Top notes are Musk, Castoreum, Amber, Tobacco, Lavender, Fig Leaf, Coriander, Vetiver, Laurels, Juniper Berries and Bergamot middle notes are Civet, Castoreum, Patchouli, Tobacco, and Vetiver base notes are Musk and Amber.
