The one that fuelled the fire, the one that turned me from an unknown guy uploading whatever he wanted into a niche celebrity, the new most viewed video on my channel. Now it's time to revisit it and give it the definitive treatment, redone with my new handcam layout.
Confirmed this and "The Fast Lane - Space Ape Edition" have wider timing windows compared to the other Extremes. Spread this video everywhere, let's see if we can beat the original video in terms of views!!!
When I first started making Beatstar videos, I genuinely thought the game was only gonna be popular among people who already had a fair amount of rhythm game experience, and cheating wasn't going to be a thing, so I just made screen recordings since they were low-effort and I didn't have a separate camera. Well, the game blew up tremendously and cheats started appearing less than a week after the global release, suddenly the scene was in chaos, nobody knew who was real or fake, and I was in the spotlight too. It took me a while to finally invest in some gear and get myself back on track, since I was dealing with my own existing mental health issues as well as additional stuff from Beatstar/KZbin fame, but by then people had already formed their opinions of me. Some loved/idolised me, while others had decided not to trust me. I figured I'd redo my most popular video to set the straight once and for all. I'm never touching Beatstar again, and ideally I'd like it if my name wasn't dragged through the mud.
I wish all cheaters a very unpleasant day and I hope nothing good ever happens to y'all.
This is my last Beatstar video. I just can't support the "exclusives" bullshit and other p2w gimmicks they've been pulling, plus the fact that they still haven't dealt with the cheating situation.
