In re to Hollywood - In 1970 as I was about to graduate from high school - I was approached by a supposed 'talent' scout lady who came to my house and offered me a job as a model - offering me and my family all kinds of perks. It sounded so wonderful to me - I had always been an outcast and this offer was so enticing to me. My father however, saw through the smoke & mirrors (thank God) and put his foot down and said no. He later explained to me that that life was all drugs and sex (even then). Was this the early child trafficking scheme? Don't know - but I am forever grateful my father was so wise.

In my opinion: Beryl Christie was a house servant that Oscar Harris got pregnant with Donald Harris (1938) who died around 1940. Oscar married Violis in 1952 when she was 25, 7 or 8 years after she gave birth to Christopher Harris (est. 1944) . Christopher had problems with the Jamaica Law, so for him to get into Government, he changed his name to Donald Harris (his half brother) who died in 1940, so he could work for the Government of Jaimaca. In my opinion, Violis is Kamalas real Grandmother. Also, Donald J Harris , is 6 years younger than he is admitting (he doesnt look 86 , he looks more like late 70's )! The ladies in the pictures where probably just servants of the family. Kamala is Irish and Indian!!!

Hi Candace!! I listen to Lady C on KZbin, who grew up in Jamaica. She recently had a long time childhood friend on her show, Dorothy, who knew Beryl. This was when Dorothy was a little girl and Miss Beryl ran a little store which Dorothy passed by on her way to school. Lady C showed Dorothy a picture from Harris' book of ' Beryl ' and Harris when Harris was about 20---only this picture had Harris cropped out. Lady C asked if Dorothy knew this lady in the picture and Dorothy said no. Mind you, the conversation never touched on Harris...only Jamaica back in their childhood days, it was a delightful trip down memory lane. One tip I have. In Jamaica back then (I know because my grandfather did it) it was very easy to steal someone else’s identity and just go on living life under that identity. He died in Bronx NY in 2009 still under his fake identity and by then he’d used the fake info to become a citizen. You could make your official papers yourself in Jamaica back then. He was born in 1920

When bidan/harris took office I went and did my own research about Kamala just to see her background. I found a video on KZbin from Kamala’s father, Donald J. Harris (I can’t remember what the channels name was). He was giving a lecture on his genealogy. He said he was 1/2 Irish & 1/2 Hindu Indian. He also talked about his grandmother being a Hindu house servant for an Irish family in Jamaica. The video was older had to be in the 80’s or 90’s. At the time he was a professor at Stanford. However, this year when all this mess started about Kamala’s background I tried to find that video lecture! To my surprise it seems to have been wiped from the internet!!

When I see genealogy people searching for ancestors, I have always suggested that they follow the property that these people owned. Many land transfers show relationships in the documents.
