I was at this game and I have no clue why they switched pitchers for the Jays. it was very tight, the second they switched the groove, they handed away 4 runs in that first inning.

Takes Gausman out just to bring in a nobody to throw battling practice balls, and Jays wonder why their season is toast.

yeah we need more weapons and maybe a new manager besides that we might be good next season

I just love the bullpen on this blue jays team. They make me so happy watching every game where we give up four runs in the seventh

Yeah that was too bad Gausman was taken out way too soon. He didnt get the chance to fix his mistakes. Nice that lady caught the ball and gave it to child in all his Blue Jay gear 😊
@kevwwong2 ай бұрын
Gaus didn’t look like he was feeling it though. Too many pitches in the middle of the zone. Meanwhile, the Jays did marginally better than they usually do against a rookie pitcher. Aguilar didn’t exactly fly like an eagle, but he did ok

No wonder why the Blue Jays have been getting their feathers plucked a lot this season, Schneider has made so many terrible decisions as manager.
@derekgreydanus4652 ай бұрын
a lot if their guys had pitched 2/3 days going into that game. at some point you have to throw those nothings at the wall to see if any will stick for next year

manager Schneider is doing all the right things but the quality of play by some of the players let him and the team down too often, bichettette should be hitting when he returns because he wasn't when he left and you can get good players for him
@MrBeatboxmasta2 ай бұрын
The Jays are a big reason why Gausman doesn't have a winning record. Last year, the batters refused to play whenever he started. It was so bad, I was shocked that he didn't go elsewhere. This year, the bullpen has been terrible for any starting pitcher.

Everything that is wrong with the Jays was on display. Kirk being below average; Espinal (a bad trade) being useful; Vladdy jogging instead of running; and bonehead managerial decisions. Oh, plus a bullpen of minor leaguers overseen by an incompetent pitching coach.
