Nice showcase. I've been using Alternate Perspective for a while and it's great. As a side note, this is also really useful for testing your mod lists as you can drop into many different locations as a particular character to check that everything is working. The one mod I wish you would do an in depth vid on is IED. This mod has a lot of customization and it would be useful to see what can be achieved with it. Another group of mods that you didn't showcase here are dialogue overhauls. These really add to the immersion of your play through, so a vid on those would also be useful.

A good mod for immersion and character focused that is largely being ignored is Five O clock shadows. It's a mod that allows the player ( male only ) to grow a beard over time and with a cisor you can trim it or shave it. You can configure the time span in between each state of beard growth too.

Dirt and blood has a similar option but I think that five o clock is better implemented into the game and works better.

Instead of Pilgrim I recommend Gods and Worship It's a more immersive and more significant for roleplay than wintersun and pilgrim

The thing that annoys me the most about Enairim mods is the amount of menus you have to use for his mods, while Simomrim might be more vanilla friendly, the main attraction for me is that it doesn’t make me have to pause gameplay to use my abilities.

@@ThomasWarhammer Just because a mod isn't being updated doesn't mean its not finished. Its about personal preference in the end from my testing with Wintersun there wasn't any issue I noticed. Pilgrim is more balanced if that what your looking for though. Wintersun somethings can be a bit busted

@@ThomasWarhammer SimonRim is quite dull IMO. I like mods that have more depth to them. Wintesun > Pilgrim. But also, Odin < Mysticism, for example. Adamant, Apothecary, and Thaumaturgy are so boring though.

If you download true directional movement (which you absolutely should), also be sure to download smooth cam. The combination of those 2 makes playing in third person feel incredible and I never use first person anymore, bonus points for “better third person selection”

Pilgrim is a strange mod to me. I like a lot of what it does but it also just seems “lacking” in a way. I admit I am spoiled by Wintersun but still. What’s the point of following Mora when you can follow Magnus for the most the same benefits without the drawbacks? Also (this part is dedicated to Redshift), have you considered the let’s play any more since it was first brought up? Don’t want to sound pushy but I admit I would love to see an actual run of the game with your list.

I think it's because it's not really "immersive". You pray periodically and you just get the benefits, and leveling comes from magic based skill trees, instead of doing something to win the god's favor like with Wintersun. The buffs are nice, and fill in the SimonRim Suite well, but because of the perks, if I'm planning a character the take full advantage of deity buffs I need to shoehorn in restoration or conjuration into the build, and if I don't I can effectively ignore the mod after first getting to a shrine.

@@Personaless there is a submod that uses Custom Skill Framework that makes it so Pilgrim functions on its own and ties to using Shrine buffs rather than use magic.

Umm… what? I just checked out the mod page and Mara and Magnus’ blessings are completely different. Mara gives you up to 50% extra magic regen, and lets you block up to 50% of weapon damage with wards. Magnus gives you up to 10% spell absorption and 25% spell resist. So I have no clue what you’re talking about…

immersive equipment comes with dual sheath weapons which doesnt work unless you downgraded your game version to normal skyrim instead of sse or ae... which really sucks Do you know how to fix that? i'm on skse but already bought the AE version which isnt activated for some odd reasons... emailed bathesda and steam and non came back to me... anyway, i would love to use the shield behind your back mod so it looks awesome youknow... if you know how to fix it, i would love to hear your opinions

I have an issue with SKyrim Souls which made me remove it. If you are trying to unlock a chest underwater it is almost impossibel as you are moved away from the chest constently... I don't know how this can be fixed, but it is so annoying that I prefer to play without it

why would you be moved? - either way you can disable the unpaused menus for certain things like chest and keep the rest unpaused
