i guess that's a survival kind of mod thing for people who can't be fucked with looting their own things lol. a far better mod would be the real-estate mod, but it would have to be in a single download instead of the 3 separate files in order to work. but what your talking about is a problem in every bethesda game, you always end up with more loot and health and money than you have to spend it on or use it on. they need to make a mod that is for late game redundancy's like this, so maybe a property tax mod or something that always takes your funds per month or week in game so that it feels like a struggle still and it's the same with the enemies who attack you, say they take your items when they defeat you or there are higher feats to accomplish in the later game. something to make the redundancy's like these things less redundant.

The others are just an overpriced new armor set (like we haven’t seen new armor sets a thousand times before,) a watered-down Xelzaz that won't even acknowledge other intelligent followers like Inigo because they aren't from the base game, a Creation Club house for people without Anniversary Edition, Lore Friendly Guns of Skyrim with a price tag, a small Hearthfire manor, and Conquest of Skyrim without the fun parts. And all of this will cost you about $40, which is double the price of Anniversary Edition which costs about $20 assuming you already have Skyrim SE. Not only that, but Anniversary Edition includes more than double the amount of mods than this currently has, and all for half the price. Ridiculous.

Legacy of the Dragonborn has something not too dissimilar to that 'East Empire Expansion'. You get deposit boxes (and a spell I believe) to dump your items, and it gets automatically transferred to the museum, and sorted between the various stores. And there's a 'caravan' you can deposit items to have the museum itself sell them for you; I don't remember if it sells a random subset at a time, or all of them at once. It doesn't have any 'harvest the dungeon for you' functions though.
@Leto85 Жыл бұрын
Legacy offered up to 30% of the income of sold items to you if I remember correctly. The EEC gives you 10%. I had upgraded 8 outposts all over Skyrim to level 2 by clearing 5 locations in each hold (and 10 in Whiterun hold just to see if this made a difference) and although this unlocked new services, such as indeed loot delivery, my income remained at 10%. This may sound low until you realise that the EEC sells everything you give them, even those overpriced homecrafted potions no Merchant has enough coin for to buy them. That means 10% of a 18.000 Septim potion times 500 of these potions for example, which I easily grow its ingredients for at Goldenhills. My character earned 66.000.000 Septims in no time.
@susinator11 ай бұрын

I kinda had the same idea as the east empire mod a while back. You know the girl that sells flowers in windhelm? Well, instead of the few flowers that she sells, she collects all the ingredients in the hold. She is so successful, she branches out and and starts hiring all the orphans in the various holds and towns to collect the ingredients. So instead of the random stuff at the alchemy shop, if you're looking for hanging moss, you can go to solitude (or the other hanging moss holds) and get your already harvest hanging moss from an interprising young orphan.

In fact, the Trainwiz mod basically sounds like a Creation. The difference is the framing, and barrier for entry, into the program. Creations had a more official feeling due to how they were developed like contract work and bundled into the Anniversary Edition of the game. These mods are... more explicitly paid mods. The East Empire Looting dungeons is pretty cool mods if its more complex. If it work as just like you described, it will ruin the economy and loot satisfactions. But if there's a chance the courier get robbed, swindled, accident where we need to help, or they do get cuts and wages from it also have limited things that they could carry/sell it would be ok. We need more economy mods anyway tho.

It's cool. And you have to clear every living thing for them to go into the dungeon. And you help them expand influence throughout skyrim. It just feels like you're building a trade empire. It's fun definitely. I dont need the money. I like new mechanics, as oppose to more stuff.

@@TheParagonIsDead Bethesda had creation content that still allowed achievements, before they started the current paid mod system. Those were not dlc content, and have now been added with anniversary. My primary issue with Creation Club is that Bethesda makes no attempt to polish any of the mods they monetize. There should be no way I'm hell a mod is greenlit for sale when it's dialogue is literally cobbled together voice lines from the base game, and it's Bethesda's job to ensure that the Creation Club mods at least come off as professional. Edit: corrected spelling

My only real issue with all of this is Bethesda basically breaking all of the free mods in the process. I have no problem with paid mods - making them is a lot of work and the developers deserve to get paid - and had this update not made it nearly impossible for me to even launch my game, I probably would have even bought some of them. Hell, I've spent at least $20 on Creation Club, but now? Nah. I bought the first real gaming computer I've ever had, was excited to play with actual mods for the first time in my entire life, spent 2 days trying and failing to get almost anything to work, and now I'm just fed up.

@fairygoatmother Жыл бұрын
Why should they, it's not their mods? Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Nexus, and other stores don't edit their customers products. They just create a list of standards. Bethesda does have a list of standards the mods must meet, and they do test to make sure they work. If they don't they send them back to the modder to work on. Will they work perfectly for everyone? probably not we all have different' mods and setups and those can conflict. But they are trying to protect the community and trying to make a platform that allows modders to sell their mods.The modder gets 70% of the sale, just like sellers on steam. So no need to get so annoyed. You don't have all the facts.

Im a person who had credits already and bought east empire company: let me just say that I do appreciate the idea of hauling off your load to a checkpoint near any strongholds by just putting your items in chests that others will collect. The bonus is also claiming mining sites so just about everyday you’d have iron ore you can transmute and make even more money with. My last pros of this mod is the voice acting is not bad, since they could’ve just done A.I. yet they provide good voices. For cons, the tutorial on all of this can’t be repeated, and there’s no guide on this mod, so you never know when your cut of gold will arrive. The merchants are mean af and just insult you before going “Alright.” Lastly, this is a paid mod that no one will probably get since you can just wait 48 hours to sell your items inside a city. What’s the point of using this if you’re just getting less money than just using the previous example? As long as this money goes to supporting the mod makers, I’d be fine with paid mods. If Bethesda is taking majority of it, they can bite it. Also, let me know if there’s any other mod similar to east empire company and that’s on Xbox. I heard lawbringers was a good mod, but not sure if it’s in consoles.

The follower one is just priced a bit too high. Here are some free follower mods that blow it out the water. - Skeever: This drunk male breton has 20k+ lines IF you get the last updated version - Vilja: 9k lines and is still a very advanced custom follower. - Inigo: 7k lines. You know who he is. - Serana SDA: 7k lines. Need I say more? - Lucien: 5k lines. He's well known - Xelzaz: Argonian follower with 1k lines of banter with Remiel. Total 7k lines. - Lyssia: 4k lines. Unique thing is an AI was used to voice the lines. Still pretty good - Remiel: ~4k lines. Has 1k lines of banter with xelzaz. Honorable mentions: Herika follower: Infinite lines. Because she uses chatgpt to generate the lines and you can use a text to speech AI program to directly talk to her and for her to respond. It takes a bit of delay between responses. But this is the most immersive follower. It actually costs money. Mainly for the subscription to use chatgpt's services. I mean there's a lot of other ones too and several are in the works. One of the most important thing with custom followers is their interactions with other custom followers. I'm not saying the follower shown here is bad, but what I am saying is its not worth the price. If I like the follower or if the author politely requests some donations to work on it, I'm sure the community would oblige. Surely there's better ways of compensating modders without bethesda taking their cut.
