I have been using my Poco F3 for months and never encountered any bad pictures taken from it. It actually takes better photos than what other reviewers claim it to be. The camera does amazing job of capturing details. No setbacks at all. The 12.5.3 update even made the camera even better.

iPhone generally has finished camera software on release, while Xiaomi releases updates after phone is launched that seem to improve camera performance. The X3 NFC produces better pictures than the more recent X3 Pro, but over time, future releases may change that to take advantage of hardware. Peace

@@RedskullPro The Pro's main camera has better specs than NFC, but comparisons so far show better pictures on NFC, but it's been updated to MiUI 12.06 stable still on Android 10, but pictures seem better than Pro. India X3 NFC models have been updated to Android 11, but report bugs and freezing. I may suspend updates until a resolution as I'm happy with current performance. Peace

Well done. Definitely the F3 is good enough for me @ US$300 out of China for me in Australia. I am a still photographer so the cameras are my top priority and your comparison tells me exactly what I am getting and not getting in the budget phone. Your comparison of the iPhone and the Mi11 lite made me decide to keep looking and perhaps wait for a later Mi 11 version with better cameras, but the Poco F3 is good enough. My son is a still and motion photographer and always buys the latest iPhone so I know indirectly how much better the more expensive iPhones are, but thanks to your direct video comparison I can see the difference before I buy.

iPhone isn't even near when it comes to professional use, even a 300€ poco is better let alone other brand flagships, photos are pre edited when you move it to lightroom or PS you don't get as good results, they seem to have built in contrast, grain, sat/vibrance, lower highlights and darken vignette all those very very subtle , but that will interfere with post processing specially if you desire a different style of photo, specially nighttime photography should always be taken with manual mode/pro mode something the iPhone lacks, the lack of resolution affects the possibilities in editing video and animated photos, and last but not least you can literally install 2 or more camera softwares on androids like gcam to get the best out of each for example for still/gimbal video or main sensor photos the software camera on the phone might be the best, but for stabilized video, ultrawide camera and macro gcam might be a huge improvement TL;DR i don't see iPhones as a contender for anything really and from as many years has smartphones have been work machines I've used them with not bias using iPhones until 2016 , but ATM they are not even comparable and more of a gimmick phone

Not really. Its well known the iphone changed its colour profile a while back to be more saturated with deeper blacks and less realistic.

Over sharpening can also be a problem and look unrealistic and while good details are great, if you are trying to create portrait effects with natural background blur then you don't want the background details to be anwhere near as prominent.

@@luqmanhaqimaminuddin According to what I found, the camera should be decent compared to Mi 9. The main sensor should be IMX582, which is the same as IMX586 from the Mi 9 with only 4K / 30FPS support instead of 4K / 60FPS. The rest is identical.

Thanks for a review mate, but without 100% (photo+video) crops camera comparisons are pretty much useless nowadays. There are only slight differences in saturation and brightness that all, we can't see any real details and noise difference without 100% cropping, so most of cameras looks pretty much the same (( Wish you make it better next time 🤗🤟

I know that some people love to clap fro the underdog but here there is nothing to clap for. You said that Ultra wide on both have the same sharpness which is absolutely not true. Not only the iPhone camera is shaper but it also has much much more detail on basically every photo you took. For example at 0:58 look at the grass. The Poco has artefacts on day light and also the text on the stone monument basically half gone on the Poco. 1:03 The stone wall lost a lot of details on the poco and and the water as well. Perfect on the iPhone very bad on the Poco considering this is day light. 1:09 Absolutely the same just look at the stone path it lost so much detail on the Poco. Much more details on the iPhone. For the main camera you said that the iPhone has more fake colors. Sorry man but you for God sake have blue Tesla and the Pocophone decided that you have a black tesla at 2:10 not to mention how much more details the main shooter on the iPhone has even in the same exact shot at 2:10 and in basically all photos taken with the main camera. In all photos and videos except maybe the zoom shots the iPhone is significantly more detailed and has far better HDR with better colors. You are way too bias in my opinion and I just proved it
