Hey! Great review, thanks! I have a question tho. I read that "the V30 doesn’t support the Widevine L1 video decryption standard, only L3. With only L3 decryption streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ reduce the best resolution available to just 480p. 1080p playback on KZbin and with capture videos is possible, but not over the mainstream services." Is this true? Can you confirm it please?

That’s correct. You won’t get netfix in higher resolution than 480p.

Bought a Doogee V30Pro about 4 months ago. Very disappointing.. very. Very sluggish out of the box. Takes a long time to start up, open apps and even scroll. Battery life is about 12 hours from full charge if you use it but more like 24 if you don't use it and takes around 6 hours to fully charge. Already cracked the screen after being dropped from about 400mm on to concrete. I'd rate it about 3/10.

Great review. Most rugged phone reviews are simply an unboxing with just repetition of the specs. Very few give reviews with actual pictures. By the way, could you compare with the Ulefone Power Armor 18t? They have similar specs. But the 18t has a thermal imaging camera

I agree 100% with the brightness opinion when outdoors. This is supposed to be an outdoor phone, and yet it is hard to see the screen when outdoors. It just isn't bright enough. Even with this huge battery.

You can only be on one wifi network at the same time. This is the same with all phones. Can’t be connected to two wifi networks at the same time

I would be a great deal more concerned with carrier compatibility testing, which is non-existent in KZbin. All those features mean nothing considering there have been complaints that while the 4G LTE data bands are working, the voice calls aren't going through.

Got this phone. Everything looks great except for GPS. The GPS fix is really bad. I have to wait for 5 minutes for it to fix and show me the navigation. Today i got so frustrated that I would have broken this phone

​@@RedskullPro yes. Looks like it was an Android auto issue. It randomly disconnects and searches for GPS. This bug has been reported for a lot of android phones. Seems to be a bug. But its unfortunate that it is happening for my phone UPDATE: figured out. Goto Google maps app info - Permissions - location - allow all the time , then goto battery- unrestricted. Issues resolved
