Absolutely brilliant scale looking flight. Very well done. Ive been flying RC Planes eversince May 1986 and ive never ever once owned or flown a model Spitfire. But after watching this video i was so impressed, so im going to order this plane. Thanks for sharing.

You fly this so gracefully and scale. Just as they should be flown. Amazing model and a great pilot. 👍👍👍

Fantastic looking spitfire,, that 4 blade looks good all that's missing is the sound of the merlin engine

Yes I agree Daniel, fly pasts just not the same when model sounds like hoover with wings :).

So refreshing to see rc warbird flown at scale speed instead of unrealistically fast.

One of the best model landings I've ever seen there, you really greased it in as per the full size...👍

Hello RRC , I have never seen Spitfire fly so stable with no critical situation in the permanent stall testing. Fantastic warbird driven by a very capable (premium) RC pilot. I appreciate and thank you for sharing.

Don't try that with her little 1200mm sister. Was trying to avoid an obstacle got her too slow down tipped the wing, and she spun straight into the ground. Cost me $100.00 to put all back together again.LOL

Best RC Spitfire video on KZbin. This has to be one of the best - if not THE best - off the shelf scale spitfire there is. The flying was very scale and your camera operating skills are excellent too! Well done!

Great flight. In regards to the lipo you use, the video said 6s 5100mah 75C. I looked at your website but the largest I found is 6S 5200mah (DP5200XP35-6S), 35C
@REDSRADIOCONTROL7 жыл бұрын
+Oscar Mok we have just sold the last 75c and are currently making amendments to the website due to price increases the product should be back on the website in a couple of days.sorry for this

I severely doubt you will need a high C pack for this model; given it has an 80A ESC max current at full power will be ~70A, and that is only 14C on a 5000 pack. I would recommend the Zippy Compact 5000s, they have been good for me in my F3A Sebart Miss Wind.
@gingermattb7 жыл бұрын
Another point - according to the description flights of >10 mins are possible on a 6S 5000, so (assuming at least 20% capacity needs to be left in your battery on touchdown) that means an average current draw of 6x4 = 24A = ~5C. Not exactly demanding!
@REDSRADIOCONTROL7 жыл бұрын
The reason for the high c rating is only for center of gravity. our 35c will not balance in this model without adding lead to the nose. the 75c is 820grams and needs to be pushed all the way forward to achieve the center of gravity.the bonus is they will work in the 90mm edfs aswell as they draw 128 amps. With a zippy compact you will need to add 120 grams of lead to the nose,
@jeromes51416 жыл бұрын
Wow. Ive never liked the old model war birds. I love the general aviation planes and starting to like the edf jets. Now I came across this model and I'm hooked. I love the size too and now that I want this plane it's out of stock😰.
@josipvrandecic24726 жыл бұрын
We all wanted to call us "Spitfire RC Pilot", which was an unofficial title for all capable RC flyers. After coming to the market of this Spifire Flightline 1600 this title is lost because this Spit flies easily and leaves all the pilot ''mistakes'' (see 7:45) Thanks so much to RRC.

What kind of receiver did you set up to fly this model? I'm looking to purchase one myself, and am thinking of fitting it with the Admiral RX600SP 6-Channel DSMX Compatible Receiver with Stability Plus Gyro. I'd like to hear recomendations if you have any. Keep up the great work! Cheers.
