Fun fact if you complete the game without ever interacting with monkeys. You still get thrown off the ship (source I did that kind of felt upset that there was no secret ending)

What I think mocha was doing I think he was stuck on a remote island off the map and then sailed back with another ship and realize the ship was almost fully complete so then he just helped you get out of a pickle
