Anne-Marie, I'm so glad to have discovered your videos! I appreciate how direct and honest you are about your experiences with products. I especially appreciate how you are clear about sharing information and not promoting any big buck companies. I love how you share your experience using ordinary products that can be purchased at drugstores and can produce effective anti-aging comparable to expensive regimes and product lines. I am so sick of how expensive companies will rob consumers of their last dollar in their efforts to take care of their looks. I refer to companies like Rodan & Fields and the like. I'm 62 and live on a budget and was resigned to accepting age on my face. You have given me hope! I can take care of myself and live on my limited budget. It's so wonderful to learn from you and know you are sharing information to help us look and feel better. I've subscribed to notifications for new updated videos. Thank you so much for your videos.

Mare Mare This one is the clinical version (169 I believe) but the full face panel (399) also has 3 different settings which are: 1 for anti-aging, 2 for acne and 3 for all of those lights together. All of the units are medical grade so it depends also how much area you want to treat (the full face panel covers more area). I don't know the difference for the 199 one though... I hope this helps some! Lots of love xoxo

I absolutely love skin care videos! Funny story is that I went into the drug store yesterday and it was Senior's Day. I went to pay and I said to the lady 'today is Senior's Day isn't it?'. She said 'yeah so'. I laughed and said, 'I will be 60 next year'. She took her glasses off and said 'write your face cream down on this piece of paper' and everyone laughed. I guess I am doing something right. I love dermarolling and the results from it. Thank you so much for all of this information. I hope you are having a great weekend Anne!

Your skin looks beautiful Anne! I am thankful that we live at a time where we have sunscreen. All of the information about sun damage hit the news when I was in my early 20's. I love the sun but after that I stayed away from it and always cover up. I wish the sun wasn't so bad for our skin because I would be outside all the time. A perfect day would be sitting out by the beach and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Such great information! Love you...Laura

Oh my Anne you look so pretty! I really enjoyed your video today! I have the Alpha Hydroxy face lotion but I haven't used it because I'm afraid to mix with Retin A. Thank you! I use the aha cream and my retin a both sometimes on the same night. I saw a video from the scientists at Paula's Choice who said using them together is perfectly fine. I think the biggest concern with it is if the two cause any irritation, but with my beenigma mixed with my retin a I don't get any irritation. It can get overwhelming for sure. The key things are to: build collagen, increase cell turnover and remove the top dead layers of skin :) Lots of love xoxo

FABULOUS INFORMATION! !!!!!!!!!!! This video was so incredibly helpful and well presented. You made a very complicated subject easier to understand. I think this is the best video I've seen. You have not only told us what we need, but why. I am the type of person who needs to understand what the products do. I was wondering if there is anything you can think of that I can do to reverse, or somewhat reduce, lines around my mouth from years of smoking when I was younger. I've tried multiple things, and I just don't seem to be able to do anything with them. Also, what is your opinion on the products from the Ordinary line? I am definitely going to ask sunscreen in addition to what is already in my lotions and cosmetics. I HATE the feel, smell, texture. ......of sunscreen. Do you have one you can recommend that doesn't feel or smell like sunscreen? Jennifer is great! I'm going to watch her video next. Thank you again! !

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! What a nice compliment!!! I have some upper lip lines from using straws my whole life and am working on them with all of these products in this video to try and build new collagen there. They are so hard to treat (like my under eye wrinkles!) If I find something in particular that has a great improvement I will share it. I have not yet tried anything from the Ordinary but always hear good things about them. I rely on my It Cosmetics CC + cream spf of 50 as my foundation and sunscreen for my face, then I use a oil free faces one (usually a coppertone or neutrogena one) on my upper chest area and arms/hands. I really don't have a all time favorite sunscreen yet. Thank you so much for watching and for the wonderful comment! Lots of love to you xoxo

I just got to listen to this video now. It is EXCELLENT! I was using the Walgreen's product for yrs. I even got sales on this $10 product. I knew it was an AHA, & good for you, lol. I know more now & had to comment. This video is so informative. You covered it all. I just found out the brown spots are not age spots. My husband has them. Should he be using the Palmer's until he sees his dermatologist? He had lots of skin removals & needs more.Love u xxoo

Hi hun! That walgreens aha product is so good!!! I love it. Smart of you to be using it for years, I wish I had. I would think he could use it even if he needs more removals (I always did) It really does help over time to fade the discoloration (I really prefer the palmer's fade milk lotion form). Lots of love to you!!! xoxo

Hi cutie! Once I heard of AHA's, I sort them out. I never even put it together why I was told how good my skin looked. Do u think they go bad or just loose potency? Do you like Palmer's more than the 3%? Let me know, to tell him. Have you tried Lactic Acid? I left it on for over an hr. alone, & did see some flaking. Nadine said to do that or leave it for the day. Someone else here uses it over Vit. C, that didn't seem right. But I tried it today. Talk to u soon. Much love to you 2, xxoo !!

Hi Anne, I did the Tca peel at a 20% on my face and chest. My skin can tolerate AHA and BHA peels so I felt pretty confident. Just want to make sure this is normal. It's day 2 and my skin still feels a little tight and my skin still also has a red tinge to it. Followed the directions to a tee and did 3 layers at 3 min a piece. I know you're not a medical professional, just want to hear based on your experience. Thank you!
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
Yes, as I remember it took my chest longer to start peeling than my face (I only did a 13% with 2 layers on my face). My skin felt like that as well for a few days, then when it was really tight it finally "cracked" and started to peel (I think it was day 4 or 5 on my face and more like a week or so on my chest). I hope you get some great results! I've been very impressed with my results from it. Lots of love xoox

Anne, I am almost 42 and starting to notice more aging on my face especially wrinkles on my forehead, neck and around my eyes. My budget does not allow me to buy multiple products. If you had to choose one product for anti aging, which one would you choose? (other than sunscreen). Thanks for your great videos :)

Thank you so very much for this video, Anne! The information you shared is invaluable...honestly. I'm especially grateful that you reiterated the importance of sunscreen. Growing up a redhead was extremely difficult. As a young person, I refused to listen to advice and am currently paying the price. I recently had to use Efudex (chemotherapy cream) on my face for several actinic keratosis. I have had many on my body as well. It's a battle I imagine I'll have to wage for the rest of my life. @BeautyByAnneMarie4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! Well some of the products are only used occasionally and not daily, so it's fairly easy to use them. It is possible to help build collagen in the skin by topical products and I'll put a link to one of my videos on products that build collagen (it's in a video about products to build collagen after dermarolling, but they can be used by themselves as well not just after dermarolling) I do give a list of ingredient categories and then list examples of my favorites in those categories in the description box under that video (you don't need all of them to build collagen, I do list and talk about several categories that build collagen to give people plenty of options) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqKThmewiLRlkLM

My peeling of one layer( I confess I did 2 days in a row) has kicked in, not thick sheets, just sort of spreading and peeling all over. I have to go to work overnight. Which vid explains how to deal with the peeling. Thx. I put on some beenigma and just keep rubbing it off as best I can.
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
If you have a glycolic or alpha hydroxy product I would put that on and let it sit for a few hours if you can then I'd either get in the warm shower or wash my face with a warm washcloth and help to get the flaking skin off. In my TCA full face peel video I talk about that a little more but that's what I found worked best for me (the dead skin would just roll off when I was in the hot shower washing my face especially after I let a aha cream sit on my face for awhile). I hope this helps! xoxo

Thank you so much for your videos. I've just started dermarolling by following along with your instructions. I'm just feeling a bit confused about whether I can use the Palmer's fade cream after I've dermarolled? I purchased it for my chest redness and under eye bags. I've tried googling and the answers are a bit mixed. Thank you so much!
@BeautyByAnneMarie6 жыл бұрын
I have before with no problems. If you are nervous about it you could skip the fade cream on the nights you roll (don't know how often that is, but usually for a 0.5 mm it's 1x every week or two or with a 0.25 about 3x a week). There is a lot of differing info out there and I usually just go by what works for me (avoiding skin irritation). I hope this helps some. xoxo

Nice to see you and your channel. I am wondering if I can use the dube for the Beenigma with my Retin A and get the same results? OMG Anne Marie, I was a sun worshiper as a young adult and as a result I have tons of dark spots all over my body, especially my arms and legs. I once got a test spray tan on my left calf and I looked like a spotted leopard. So of course I didn't get the full treatment. I don't expect to get rid of them but it would be nice to fade the ones on my face and lighten the ones on the rest of my body. I have a glycolic acid body cream that I use but I think after watching your video that I could find something much better, cost is a factor for me however. Wishing you health and love, Lacy

I'm glad you found me! I did a video on hyperpigmentation of the chest and the peel I used at home to get rid of a good 75% of it. It can be used on the body as well so you might be interested in watching that one if you haven't already. I know exactly what you mean about the self tanner and sun damage ;)) The one I found that doesn't do that is the natural bronze by palmer's (gradual tanner). Lots of love xoxo

Could you possibly create a printable of your current morning and evening skin care routine?

Good suggestion. I could put it in the description box and then it could be copied and printed. I'll try to get that done in the next several days. I don't have a blog or I'd put it up there. Lots of love! xoox

Anne-Marie thanks for the video, very informative...I have used Refissa as well, however I started using the retinalhydes(sp)...I have been using the Osmosis Skin Care, in which I like a lot... As for Refissa, Obagi acquired it February 2017...
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
Oh thank you for that info! I hope I can get it at places that sell obagi! I've never tried the Osmosis line but do like that retinaldehydes are easily converted to retinoic acid :)) Thanks for the great info! Lots of love xoxo

Anne your skin looks wonderful!! I worry about skin cancer as I was a sun bather...Luckily I didn't get any dark spot on my face..but I am starting to get dry spots on my body...So happy your skin cancer issues are over...I went to Sam;s CLub and bought the Retinol Cream..Feels nice on my skin...Have you used the VIt E cream? I watch Jennifer sometimes...Hugs and Much Love Loretta

Hi hun! You are lucky if the only damage is dry spots! I get checked every year for new areas of skin cancer. Oh I'm so glad you got it!!! I love that cream :)) I have not tried the vitamin E one...I did get the vitamin C one but it went weirdly watery when I put it on my skin. I like their retinol one the best (although I have heard their coconut one smells great!). Lots of love xoxo

I use that on my face and neck (sometimes on my upper chest as well). It's great to help dissolve the "glue" that holds the dead skin on. I leave it on over night. I hope you love it! xoxo

Re the hydroquinone that you mix, my derm advised just to put on individual marks, but it seems ok to mix as you say. I just thought it may whiten where you don't want it to? Thanks
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
I haven't noticed that it whitens my skin, but it does even up the skin tone so it all matches nicely. I use a over the counter percentage which is less than the prescription strength and I use it kind of like obagi hydroquinone where they have you mix it with retin a. Seems to work great. Lots of love xoxo
@iloveromeo37 жыл бұрын
The tca. One layer. How long do you leave it on for? Also, if you do just one layer can you then still do your retin a without waiting? I know you are not a medical professional, I just want your opinion. And what you do if you only use one layer. Ty. :)
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
I leave the one layer on for just 1 to 2 minutes then rinse it off with water. I do put my retin a on right over it as I do my peel at night after I've cleansed my face and dried it. The retin a seems to help speed up the flaking process. Lots of love xoxo

How many times a month do you use TCA PEEL?is it 20% afordable ?my doctor did me a 15%and it worked fine and wreat
@BeautyByAnneMarie5 жыл бұрын
I've done two 20% peels on my chest and so far one 13% full face peel. I also do a light upper eyelid peel about once a month on that one (here's my video on how I do that) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXfQfaeGpcl_kNU and also my video on how I apply the chest peel kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXyqnJylnM6KgLc I'm due to do another full face peel. I really like the TCA peels they work better than any other skin peels I've tried. xoxo

How often do you do the TCA peels?
@BeautyByAnneMarie4 жыл бұрын
Not as often as I should. I've only done the full face peel twice and the chest peel 2-3 times. They can be done at 20% or less once a month. xoxo

I haven't even finished the video, but I am super excited and giddy over here! I'm loving all of the new info out there about Retinaldehyde. But seriously, you're the first person, here on KZbin that I heard speak about it. Btw, you should check out this website...with caution of course. I'm about to order the Tri-Luma. www.medsmex.com/store/address_book.php

Retin A took away the sun spots on my face. I grew up in FL and was always in the sun, more than I should have been.. Also, I use cacay oil and swear by it. I am still trying the Nivea under my eyes, and no results after a month. I will still continue for another month.
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
I used the nivea concentrate for a total of 2-3 months before I was completely happy with the results, so it might just need more time. Is it the concentrate serum that you got or the gel? The concentrate has 10x more of the L-carnitine in it so should have much better results. I know some people couldn't find that one and got the gel in the big tube instead. Lots of love xoxo

Anne-Marie, What strength Refissa do you recommend?
@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
I have only tried the 0.05% strength. I do have a retin a cream (not emollient like the refissa) that is 0.1% but I just use it on my upper chest area and backs of my hands. For my face I have just stuck to the 0.05% Lots of love xoxo

@BeautyByAnneMarie7 жыл бұрын
I haven't had any fillers but do enjoy hearing about what the process is like and what can happen (bruising etc). Plus I always find the before and afters interesting. I would love to have my lips done sometime but the cost scares me and not knowing if I would pick the right person to do a good job scares me away from it. I try about every at home DIY treatment to build collagen on my own and so far so good I think ;)) I appreciate you watching! Lots of love xoxo
