You’re right. I know a couple of people who have been blindsided by taxes after selling stocks or real estate. They didn’t plan ahead and ended up paying a lot more than they expected. That’s the kind of mistake you don’t want to make as a retiree.

Absolutely. I had a similar experience when I sold a property last year. I didn’t realize how much the tax hit would be until it was too late. That’s something people really need to understand-timing and tax strategies matter

It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement of growing your wealth and forget about taxes. But those taxes can erode a big chunk of what you’ve worked for, especially if you're not planning for them. One thing I’ve learned is that good tax planning should be part of any investment strategy.

Guys so in order to potentially avoid Capital gain distributions. It's better to buy a mutual fund, index fund or ETF right AFTER the fund distributes it's capital gain quarterly? THANKS
