I have an idea for imperialism that I would like to see. I know that it will take time to build all the unique rosters though. All 50 states represented. If the state only has one NFL team, that team represents the state. For states with multiple NFL teams like California, take all the teams and do random draws to form their roster. For states with no NFL teams but with NFL teams from neighboring states like Kentucky, take all the teams from the neighboring states and do random draws. For states with no NFL team or neighboring states with NFL teams, take the three closest teams by distance and do random draws. Instead of random draws, another option is to build a roster for those states equal to the average overall rating of the surrounding teams. For example, if a state roster is constructed from NFL teams containing rating of 80, 65, and 50, construct the roster using players of those three teams to form a team with a rating of 65. I know this is a lot of work, but I think it would be super unique to include every state. Plus we could see some cool hybrid combinations. I also know that we will have repeat players and possibly a Mahomes vs Mahomes matchup, but it would be unique to see how the hybrid teams work out.

Garret Wilson grew up in a northwest suburb of Columbus before moving to and attending high school in Texas. If you had to put him in Ohio, I don't know how you could pick one team over the other, but I would say where they went to high school should be used, not the state Madden says they're from.
