Beautiful brackets! Beautiful set-up! They leave room to use the Kawasaki (full-sized) windshield too! Love the Star Wars segue.

The top of the forks are used for the windshield mounting bracket. Most windshields are designed to go over the OEM light. The new light appears to be far enough out of the way, but you might want to check at the dealer. Great work!

A question or three. 1. If one were to install a windshield / windscreen on it after the new headlamp, would other screens fit since the Vulcan S stock screen is shaped around the factory peach headlamp? 2. The led lamp is definitely bright but is it too bright? Dont want some copper pulling me over for high beams. Agree that the factory peach lamp is insufficient but is there an in between? A better light yet one shy of landing aircraft? Thanks. Great vid

1: yes I've seen some people do this with universal screens on the KVSR facebook page. 2: Yes its very bright. Ive had it on now for over a year. Never been pulled over. 3: There is a full LED replacement the looks just like the original out now. It's pretty expensive though.

Hey mate, is there a reason why you didn't purchase and use a headlight housing with your light? The housing provides additional weather protection and can be mounted to your forks.

Hey, i bought a kawasaki vn 800 1999. I was wondering something, if u buy these i just need to unscrew to screws and remove the original front part of the headlight and replace it with the same headlight i bought like u, or it won't fit? can u tell me otherwise i know i need to customize a new case for it. sorry for the english...

I have the same light. Except the H4 plug There’re other 2wires for the day running light. Do you have instructions that how to connect these two wires? Thank bro

I have wired this up recently. You have two options. 1.) Cut and rewire the the stock day light connection. 2.) Install the OEM relay kit so power is provided to the spare bullet connectors at the front. Either way you will need a male spade connector to the light and a bullet connection at the bike end plus a bit of wire inbetween. Hope that makes sense. Will go over it all in detail on my next mod update video. :)
