Are there any town homes with 2 car garages on a lake with a dock? All the town houses I have found on the various lakes do not have garages.

You may have better luck finding a condo to fit that criteria. I can think of some in the Clemson area. There are also so townhomes with garages NEAR Lake Robinson if that would be suitable. Here’s an idea: require all developers to build for multiuse- apts. & condos above shops & restaurants, bus/ trolley/ light rail stops, bike lanes, encourage social creativity/ avoid sameness. Keep good schools, libraries & work/offices close by… in other words, let people have the option to keep living in a well-functioning, desirable new town vs. the isolating, tedious typical ‘planned community’

Sounds to me like you're describing Greenville as whole! Our median sales price hovers around the $350k mark. But, I'd look into Mauldin, Simpsonville, Greer and Taylors!
