Aquarium Systems Reef Crystals salt review// Salt that has been produced in France since 1964 is now available in Australia. Watch along to see how easily it mixes up, what parameters it has and how my tank responds to it.

Reef Crystals are good salts. Thank you for the video Sam.

Awesome - that Alk is high - thing is if you have an emergency and need to do a big water change this will mix up super fast if you have RO - could save your tank. I've never heard of it. I have the Tropic Marin reef salt and that mixes pretty nicely - will have to time it to see how fast it goes clear ;)

Sam, I know this is an old video, but can you remember where the idea that the French version was better came from? I was going to switch to IO based on a bunch of testing from the US and the long term experience of people there using the salt, but if the French one is different then none of that applicable annoyingly!

Was word at the time that the french origin salt had better parameters than the alternative. If that is still the case or not, who knows sadly

Never heard of this salt but I don't like the Alk at 11, I use aquaforest reef salt and love how it mixes and it's parameters. Thanks for the vid and if you ever get the chance can you review the Ultimate Aquacare salt or one of their other products as I like that we have an Australian reefing products company producing products for our hobby.

Hey Shane, they do another mix with a lower Alk level which may be more of interest for your setup. I’d be happy to review some Quantum products.

It doesn't look like the packaging. It normally comes in and I thought it was an American company.

Parkers Reef take a large container for all the frags you’ll buy. It’s off the chart insane in there. 👍🏾

@ParkersReef5 жыл бұрын
Not safe with shrimp and possibly snails.

I might end up giving it a shot because I have no stump but I do have snails I’ll just have to see how the hawkfish does that I’m getting in Sunday
